One creative Pokemon fan has imagined what a Steel-type evolution for Eevee might look like. As of writing there are eight different official evolutions for Eevee. The most recently introduced "Eeveelution" is Sylveon, who first appeared in Pokemon X and Y when the Fairy Pokemon type was introduced as a counter to Dragon, which had been overwhelmingly powerful until that point.

Eevee has yet to receive an evolution for 10 of the 18 types in the Pokemon series, leaving a lot of room for artistic fans to let their imaginations run wild. One Pokemon fan created a Ghost-type evolution for Eevee, as an example. It is unknown if or when Eevee will receive a new evolution, but such artistic efforts by fans of the Evolution Pokemon are a testament to its enduring popularity.

A Reddit user by the name of Shunixe has designed a futuristic-looking Steel-type evolution for Eevee. Its large diamond-shaped ears somewhat resemble those of the Ice-type Glaceon, however, its body looks completely mechanical. The tail and whiskers appear to be made of plasma, similar to the blades of the Paradox Pokemon, Iron Valiant. Indeed, some commenters thought the design would work better by making it an Eevee Paradox Pokemon rather than an evolution, while others speculated about its potential Pokedex entries and abilities. A few responses lamented the fact that the impressive design will never be catchable in a Pokemon game.

Shunixe didn't provide a name for their creation, but one commenter to jokingly suggested the name "Raytheon" in reference to the Virginia-based aerospace and defense conglomerate, Raytheon Technologies. Another suggestion was to simply name it "E-V." If an official Steel-type Eevee evolution is ever introduced to the Pokemon franchise, it is unlikely that the "-eon" naming convention will be broken.

It's clear that Pokemon fans are anticipating a new "Eeveelution," but it remains to be seen whether a new one will be officially added to the ever-increasing roster of Pokemon. Fans can likely rest assured that The Pokemon Company is well aware of the demand for a new Eevee evolution. Some might say that it's only a matter of time. There is a possibility that a new Eevee evolution could be introduced as part of the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, but this is pure speculation. That said, anything is possible; the Pokemon series is built on surprising and delighting its fans.
