A creative Pokemon fan recently designed original concept artwork envisioning what Eevee's Flying-type and Steel-type evolutions would look like. Normal-type Pokemon Eevee already has numerous evolutions, but with some elements not officially represented in the franchise's Pokedex, fans are left to imagine what features these hypothetical forms would have.

Even with the recent release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the development team has yet to add another evolution for Eevee. Currently, the Pokemon can evolve into eight forms, representing many of the available elements in the Pokemon universe. However, there are still ten types that Eevee does not have evolution forms for. This is likely why many within the Pokemon community seem to be fixated on creating their own versions, showing off their designs and theories to fellow fans of the pocket creature.

On Reddit, user dhio_art created Pokemon-themed design concepts envisioning Eevee's hypothetical Flying-type and Steel-type evolutions. The artist named their Flying-type version "Cloudeon" and gave the pocket creature a very airy design. Living up to its element, the Pokemon's body is colored a silvery-blue while clouds form its tail and mane. Dhio_art called the Steel-type evolution "Knighton," though some Redditors think the artist may have made a typo and intended to call it "Knighteon" instead. The unique Eevee evolution has a dark-colored body, a full set of metal armor, and an intimidating blade for a tail, which truly embodies the creature's Steel-type element.

Though this is not the first time that an artist has created a Flying-type or Steel-type version of Eevee's evolutions, the Pokemon community is probably still happy to see what their fellow fans have come up with. The comments on the Reddit thread seemed to be particularly impressed by dhio_art's Cloudeon, especially since they chose not to give the pocket creature any wings even if it was a Flying-type. Commenters also noted Knighton's tail blade, talking about how the Pokemon gave the move Iron Tail a whole new meaning with its look.

Until The Pokemon Company adds more Eevee evolutions to the universal Pokedex, the Pokemon community will likely continue creating their own design concepts. However, this does not seem like that much of a problem, given how enthusiastic the fan base is whenever another artist makes their own versions of Eevee evolutions. Hopefully this continues and the community will be as encouraging as it is to all Pokemon fan artists who want to share their work in the future.
