Creative endeavors among Pokemon fans around the world never seem to cease, with one dedicated fan showing off an adorable "real-life" Max Raid battle that they set up for their young daughter using several figurines of Pokemon as well as a cute Scorbunny plush. While Dynamax Pokemon are no longer a feature in the latest Pokemon titles, the relatively new concept of boss-like raid battles seems to be here to stay in the franchise.

Max Raid battles were first introduced in the Generation 8 titles, Pokemon Sword and Shield, allowing players to team up in groups of four to battle against a single Dynamax Pokemon which served as a type of boss. Though it seems like the Dynamax gimmick will remain exclusive to the Galar region only, the overarching concept of these multiplayer raid battles has been reused and adapted to fit in the latest entries to the series, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Now known as Tera Raid battles in the Paldea region, the powerful new optional boss Pokemon that players have been facing are instead designed around the mysterious new Terastal phenomenon discovered in the latest games.

One very young aspiring Pokemon Trainer seems to have taken an interest in the massive Dynamax Pokemon seen in Sword and Shield's Max Raid battles, however. One of the parents, a user on Reddit under the username Evangeder, shared a post on the site featuring this "real-life" Dynamax battle that they set up for their daughter using an assortment of Pokemon toys and figures. This was set up for the young Pokemon fan due to her apparently being too young to play the real games for herself, though that hasn't stopped her from falling in love with the renowned franchise thanks to other forms of Pokemon media such as the anime. While Tera Raid battles have been a hot topic among Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans since the games launched, much like the games themselves, this new feature has proven to have a few problems of its own. They certainly offer the opportunity for players to get their hands on some rare rewards such as a Herba Mystica, though countless frustrating glitches found by players have shown to cause connectivity issues in matchmaking, disappearing UI, and even allow bosses to regain their health back for no reason.

Still, the promise of a patch for the games in the near future has delivered the hope to many players that some of these issues might soon be fixed. As is the case with countless other video games, the Pokemon titles offer many experiences and learning opportunities that can prove beneficial not just to children, but for players of all ages. While this young Pokemon Trainer might not be ready to experience the games for herself just yet, it seems likely that her enjoyment of the franchise will only continue to grow thanks to the other Pokemon enthusiasts in her family.
