Duskull is a Pokemon that functions as the stylized personification of the Grim Reaper, with its evolution Dusknoir having a horrifying Pokedex entry. The fan art captures this idea well by keeping the Pokemon's body design, especially its creepy look. Skarmory, meanwhile, is a Pokemon known for its fierce nature, to the point of having a rivalry with Corviknight. These traits are captured by giving the fusion Pokemon Skarmory's wings and its red color, the tail, and the triangular crest that the Steel/Flying-type Pokemon has.
The fusion created by rc1246 could make Pokemon fans visualize this new critter as a Steel/Ghost-type Pokemon, something the franchise has only with the Honedge evolutionary line.
