Fans of Pokemon and collecting Build-A-Bears will be thrilled to hear the companies are collaborating once again. Later this year, Build-A-Bear will add several more Eeveelutions to its growing stock of plushes.

The Pokemon Company and Build-A-Bear have been in a business relationship since 2015. Now every year, around four new Pokemon plushes are released into the store for fans to buy. As a result of the partnership, plush versions of Pikachu, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and other Generation 1 or Generation 2 Pokemon like Pichu have been brought to life and caught by trainers around the world.

These plushes can come in a regular store-bought option or an online bundle with costumes and a voice-over. To start the new decade, a Flareon plush, Eevee's fire-type evolution, was just added to the store and will soon be followed by the other Generation 1 Eeveelutions: the electric-type Jolteon and the water-type Vaporean.

Build-A-Bear has announced that Jolteon and Vaporean will join the collection of Pokemon plushes during Summer 2020. Jolteon will be released first, and Vaporeon will appear late into the summer. After its initial 2016 release, the normal-type Eevee went nearly four years without any members of its family. With these additions, however, the original Eevee evolutionary set can finally be reunited in real life by Pokemon trainers and fans.

Other than the initial announcement, no details were given about the price for either Jolteon or Vaporean. However, the Flareon plush currently costs $32 by itself and $64 for the bundle which includes the different outfits and voice. From this, fans can accurately predict the other Eeveelutions will have the same price range on release or even be bundled together at a discount cost.

With the most recent news, however, this does open up the option for even more Eeveelution plushes in the future. Throughout the years, five other evolutionary forms including Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon were added to the games. At the same time, looking towards these evolutions means the eventual inclusion of other beloved Pokemon from Generation 3 and above.

In the end, there are bound to be some Pokemon fans uninterested in the upcoming Jolteon and Vaporean release. Fear not, because there are ongoing sales or discounts for older plushes as well as much more content for Pokemon Sword and Shield coming in 2020.
