The remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, are mostly the same as the original versions on the DS. While there are some changes here and there, like the addition of EXP Share and an area full of legendary Pokemon, veteran players will have no trouble finding all the little hidden items that these pair of games contain. Players wondering how to get the Quick Claw item in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl can use this handy guide.

Early on in players' journey through the Sinnoh region, they will eventually reach a fairly large place called Jubilife City. It's not home to one of Sinnoh's Pokemon Gym Leaders, but it still has some pretty cool places to check out, such as the TV Station and the Trainer School. And it turns out that this is the city where trainers will find a Quick Claw without having to put any work into it.

Updated April 10, 2022, by Greysun Morales: It's been many months since Pokemon fans got to experience the Diamond and Pearl remakes, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, there's always going to be new trainers coming into the Sinnoh region for the first time or players looking to find every item there is to collect. One of the battle items that players will want to look for is called the Quick Claw. It's a held battle item that increases the likelihood of a Pokemon moving first to attack. This guide has been updated to include more information on how to get the Quick Claw in BDSP.

Once Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players find themselves in Jubilife City, they should enter the Condominiums building as seen in the image below. There is a character with green hair and a man in blue overalls standing near the entrance. It's also right behind the shopping mart, if that helps players out.

Now, to get the Quick Claw, Pokemon players only need to speak with the young girl on the first floor that has a Pikachu and a Pachirisu near her. She'll gift the player a Quick Claw for no cost at all, and players can equip it to one of their Pokemon by going into the bag in the menu.

What a Quick Claw is Used for in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

The Quick Claw is an item that any Pokemon can hold, and it's been around since the second Pokemon generation. Once a Pokemon holds it, there's a higher chance for it to attack first in battles. This is a great item to get the advantage on some Pokemon that can run away from players in the first round of an encounter.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are available on the Nintendo Switch.
