A talented artist combined Armarouge and Ceruledge from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and shared the result with other Pokemon fans. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced players to Paldea, a region based on the Iberian Peninsula. In addition to featuring Pokemon from previous generations, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet feature over 100 all-new Pokemon.

Among these new critters is Charcadet, a Fire-type Pokemon with a humanoid appearance. Charcadet's body is mostly black, with red details on its torso and extremities. Its forehead is covered by a black plate-like mask, and a fire-like feather on top of its head makes it look like Charcadet wears a medieval helmet. If exposed to Auspicious Armor, it evolves into Fire/Psychic-type Armarouge, a Pokemon that wears yellow knight-like armor. If exposed to Malicious Armor, Charcadet turns into the Fire/Ghost-type Ceruledge, whose purple armor resembles a knight.

Reddit user Delta1Dan shared their fan art that shows the fusion between Armarouge and Ceruledge, resulting in an impressive Paradox form. Paradox Pokemon is the new mechanic featured in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, where two groups of Pokemon can be from the past or the future. Named Iron Legionary, this Future Paradox Pokemon combines the colors and design features of the two Pokemon. While Iron Legionary has the shoulders of Armarouge's armor and its cannon, it also has Ceruledge's body design and blades. To give the fan art extra flair, the artist used Blender Cycles to render their work.

Delta1Dan also revealed that Iron Legionary is a Psychic/Ghost-type Pokemon, making a clever fusion of Armarouge and Ceruledge secondary types. Because of this, the Pokemon fan can imagine Iron Legionary having access to moves like Calm Mind, Armor Cannon, Psycho Cut, and Shadow Claw, which would be fitting for the Pokemon. The artist did not reveal any other details about their impressive Pokemon fan art but promised to share the Pokedex entry and animation of Iron Legionary soon.

The Pokemon community continues to show that while fans created countless Paradox Pokemon fan art, there is still room for even more eye-catching ideas. The fusion of Armarouge and Ceruledge impresses the Pokemon fan not only because it is a beautiful-looking Paradox form, but because it combines two related Pokemon in a clever way. The result is a new Pokemon with the aura of a brave warrior carrying its swords, with an air of modernity because of the hands that turn into a cannon. In a curious detail, Iron Legionary might even remind Pokemon fans of the Medabots and Mega Man franchises because of its design.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
