Pokemon has inspired players to create many things based on the franchise for almost as long as the series has been around. The sheer range of what fans have been able to make in tribute to Game Freak's most famous titles is incredible, as series loyalists have made unique origami figures of creatures like Lotad, and even custom cases to hold their favorite entries to the 26-year-old series in. One fan has taken the time to create a uniquely detailed plush in the form of a 6-foot-long shiny Furret.

In Pokemon, some fans have taken up a pastime that many players call "Shiny Hunting." Starting with Pokemon Gold and Silver, players can be incredibly lucky and find a uniquely colored and sparkling Pocket Monster in the wild. These special creatures usually have a 1 in every 8192 chance of appearing. While the games have ways for players to adjust those odds more in their favor, many dedicated players have taken this as a challenge and find these special variants for a bit of extra fun.

While Shiny Hunting can take a fair amount of time, some players have searched for Shinies in Pokemon for years, one fan going by the name del_sylph decided to use their time to instead sew a plush Shiny Furret. Furret is a Normal Type creature introduced in the same generation as Shiny Pokemon. Furret's Shiny is rather sought after as it turns the ferret-like creature pink.

However, the fact that del_sylph went with the pink version of Furret isn't the only thing special about their hand-made plush, as their creation also takes inspiration from the Pokedex. When players catch the adorable critter, they'll unlock info about the Pocket Monster that reveals that Furret is said to be 6 feet long when rounded up. The plush maker went above and beyond and also made the plush 6 feet long, meaning that it's not just Shiny, but also life-sized.

On the Reddit post of the video del_sylph made of the plush and its creation, many players and enjoying the work put into it in the comments. Some are saying that the time-lapsed process of the doll being created has inspired them to make their own plush toys, while others are quoting different songs seen in "Furret Walks" videos that poke fun at the Pokemon's walk cycle animations.

The plush toy is most definitely cute enough to deserve the praise it's getting from other fans. It's clear that del_sylph put a lot of time and effort into such a big and detailed project, and even the video showcasing it and its size uses sparkle emoticons to reflect the sparkles Shinies are known for. Hopefully the plush has been worth the work put into it and del_sylph enjoys having a life-size version of a Pokemon by their side.
