A Pokemon fan artist remade several critters as Paradox Pokemon across various game generations and showcased their work in seven images alternating between Past and Future Paradox forms. The Pokemon fan artist shared their handiwork on social media with other trainers, who complimented them on their creativity with each Paradox Pokemon.

Introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Paradox Pokemon are an alternate take on previously established creatures. With each Paradox Pokemon taking on a Past form in Pokemon Scarlet, or a Future form in Pokemon Violet, Paradox Pokemon can have different types from the creatures they take their designs from. However, some Pokemon such as Donphan have had both a Past Paradox and a Future Paradox form, with Great Tusk and Iron Treads as the respective new forms. The popularity of Paradox Pokemon has extended to Five-Star Tera raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which appear periodically for a limited time.

A Japanese gaming magazine holds a popularity poll for the characters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and the results are a little surprising.

As Pokemon fan artists have continued to create Paradox designs, one Pokemon trainer threw in their contributions. A Redditor named Phiscisart shared 18 different Paradox Pokemon designs on the r/pokemon subreddit, with nine Past and Future Pokemon designs each, including a bonus form change for one particular critter. For Past Paradox Pokemon, Phiscisart remade Gliscor, Heliolisk, Wishiwashi, Eiscue, Dewgong, Smeargle, Bouffalant, and Lairon, with each Pokemon representing one game generation each. They were given names such as Diving Claw and Plumed Shell, which corresponded to the naming schemes in Pokemon Scarlet. Wishiwashi's Paradox form, Dreadful Colony, was given a Single Cell and a Multicellular form based on Wishiwashi's Solo and School forms in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Pokemon Fan Artist Creates 18 Incredible Paradox Forms

For their Future Paradox roster, Phiscisart chose Pokemon such as Torterra, Noivern, Ledian, Tentacruel, and Golurk as the templates for their designs. Each Pokemon featured the Iron prefix in their name and had robotic designs. Phiscisart stated that their art of various Paradox Pokemon were part of an ongoing project called Beyond Paldea. However, Phiscisart stated their project was not finished yet, as they had one more Pokemon left to finish their quota of creating two Paradox Pokemon designs per generation. In response, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans complimented Phiscisart for their drawings, with some stating that Phiscisart's work could be considered official Pokemon art. What creature Phiscisart will choose for their next Paradox Pokemon design remains to be seen.

Between different Pokemon fan projects that highlight each game region and the ongoing Paradox trend, the creativity of Pokemon fan artists continues to expand. As fans eagerly await the next Pokemon games, only time will tell what artists will create next.
