When Sony first launched the PlayStation 3 console, it did so without an equivalent to the Xbox 360's achievements. After some time, Sony finally decided to add trophies to PlayStation 3 games, retroactively outfitting some PS3 titles with trophies and demanding that all new releases after a certain point incorporate them. Trophies have been a mainstay ever since, featured on PS4, PS Vita, and PS5 hardware, with many fans finding joy in unlocking all the trophies in their favorite games.

Any PlayStation gamer that manages to unlock all of the trophies in a game will be rewarded with the coveted Platinum trophy. Unlocking the Platinum trophy in any given game is no easy feat, as it usually requires players to master the game in question, dedicating many hours to complete skill-based challenges and time-consuming tasks. Some PlayStation games are easier to 100% than others, though one recent release will go unfinished by trophy hunters for at least a decade.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe recently launched to rave reviews, with PS4 and PS5 versions of the game available. An enhanced version of the beloved indie classic, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe features new content and gives console gamers their first opportunity ever to experience the award-winning, mind-bending game.

The Stanley Parable - Ultra Deluxe Easter Eggs

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe has plenty of quirks, and this includes bizarre trophies. Chief among these is the Super Go Outside trophy, which tasks Stanley Parable players not to play the game for at least 10 years. If unlocked legitimately, players won't be able to unlock this particular trophy until 2032 at the earliest. However, there are ways to manipulate the console's internal clock to unlock the trophy right away for trophy hunters that can't wait to get their Platinum.

The rest of Stanley Parable's trophy list is equally weird. There are some standard trophies, like the one awarded for beating The Stanley Parable, but then there's "Commitment," which is awarded to those who play the game for the entire duration of a Tuesday.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is on Xbox as well, which means Xbox gamers have the same weird achievements to unlock if they hope to 100% the game on their end. There are ways that players can get all of the achievements/trophies in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe fairly easily, but anyone hoping to complete the game legitimately will want to set an alarm for 10 years down the road.
