Throughout the years, the library of games that are available to stream or download in Sony's PlayStation Now continues to grow with the addition of some of the biggest titles that are available on PlayStation 4. From games such as God of War and Uncharted 4, PlayStation Now offers players access to hundreds of games for a fixed monthly subscription. Now, in a post uploaded on the PlayStation Blog yesterday, Sony confirmed that a trio of PS4 classics recently joined the streaming service. These games are Marvel's Spider-Man, Just Cause 4, and The Golf Club 2019, which are definitely welcome additions to PlayStation Now's growing library.
Of course, Marvel's Spider-Man is one of the biggest PlayStation 4 exclusives in 2018, and just a couple of days ago, the game was rumored to be heading to Sony's streaming service. The game is developed by Insomniac Studios and allows players to explore a new chapter in Spider-Man's universe as Peter Parker. Additionally, Marvel's Spider-Man features an innovative web-slinging mechanic, a wide variety of acrobatic and parkour abilities, and other elements that are never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. Marvel's Spider-Man will be available to stream starting today until July 7, 2020.
Another popular game that is now available on the PlayStation Now is Just Cause 4. The 2018 action-adventure game serves as a direct sequel to 2015's Just Cause 3 and revolves around the story of protagonist Rico Rodriguez. The game is set in the fictional world of Solis, which is a large open-world environment that is divided into four unique biomes. Just Cause 4 will be available on PlayStation Now starting today until October 6, 2020. Last on the list of new additions for PlayStation Now is The Golf Club 2019, which is also available now on the streaming service.
For quite some time now, the PlayStation Now has been consistent in providing players access to some of the biggest games in the industry, which goes to show that the company is taking fan feedback seriously to ensure that subscribers are getting their money's worth. Just last month, PlayStation Now added 2019's Control by Remedy Entertainment, alongside Wolfenstein: New Colossus, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Several weeks ago, Remedy Entertainment added a new DLC expansion for Control called The Foundation. The additional content is relatively short but offers exciting new things in hopes of enticing players back to the game. Meanwhile, PlayStation Now subscribers are able to access more than 300 PS4 and PS2 games that players can play on the PS4 and PS4 Pro, and over 800 PS2, PS3, and PS4, games that are playable on the PS4 or PC.
