With only a few inferior brands acting as competition, LEGO is the king of the construction toy world, and always has been. While its vast range of original product lines can be amazing, like the old Pirate, Medieval, and City series, licensed sets are where LEGO really shines nowadays. With sets from Star Wars, Harry Potter, DC, Marvel, and more, LEGO caters to just about every fandom. With the introduction of video game sets, LEGO ticks another box.

Though some video game LEGO sets have cropped up in the past, with Portal and other IPs appearing as expansions to LEGO Dimensions, the brand has recently started to produce full sets based on some popular video game IPs. Starting with the LEGO Mario series a few years ago, LEGO seems to be going all in on the video game market, with a Sonic the Hedgehog set releasing a few months ago and a new Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West set being confirmed recently. There's almost certainly some more video game LEGO sets in the pipeline, and PlayStation's first-party games are a great place to draw inspiration from.

Uncharted 4's Madagascar Bridge Sequence

If LEGO is looking to make more sets based on PlayStation properties, then Uncharted is likely at the top of the list. In fact, according to recent rumors, an Uncharted LEGO set is already in the works, apparently containing the Jeep from the fourth game along with minifigures of Nathan Drake, Elena, and Sully.

Though this rumored set is said to feature a cave structure along with the Jeep, this seems a bit too generic for a truly memorable Uncharted LEGO set. Instead, a set based off the game should revolve around Uncharted 4's most beloved set piece, the Madagascar bridge chase.

Shown off as a centerpiece for trailers before the game's launch, the Madagascar bridge chase in which Nathan Drake grapples onto a moving convoy, swings underneath a bridge, and climbs up onto the moving vehicles would make for a great LEGO set. A large portion of the set's piece count could be dedicated to a sizeable bridge structure, with the scaffolding underneath that Drake crashes into included. The rest of the set could be used to build the crane and vehicle Drake swings from. As an added bonus, the set could come with Sam Drake on his motorbike.

Spider-Man's Raft Rooftop Scene

Spider-Man is no stranger to receiving the LEGO treatment, with both the comic version and MCU iteration receiving plenty of LEGO sets on a yearly basis. Though, aside from a 2019 San Diego Comic Con exclusive minifigure, Marvel's Spider-Man hasn't been given a full LEGO makeover.

If LEGO wanted to make a set based on the first game, then the Raft rooftop scene seems like an obvious choice. It could include all members of the Sinister Six along with Spidey and a small build of the rooftop. Some other set pieces that could make for great LEGO sets would be the Shocker bank heist sequence or the final Oscorp tower battle with Doc Ock, with a possible play-feature imitating the sequence where Spidey and Ock fight on the side of the building.

Alternatively, if LEGO wanted to base a set around Spider-Man: Miles Morales, then there's plenty of moments to draw from there. The very beginning of the game could make for a great LEGO set, with Miles atop a fully-buildable Rhino mech and Peter swinging in to rescue civilians inside the shopping mall. The explosive bridge sequence could also make for an interesting LEGO set, and would allow LEGO to even borrow from their own past designs, such as the "Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle" set.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart's Fixer Chase

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Fixer Chase

Ratchet & Clank seems like the perfect brand to pair with LEGO. With bright and vibrant set pieces, a LEGO set based on just about any Ratchet & Clank game would likely be a must-have. One of the most obvious set pieces to draw inspiration from is the Fixer battle in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.

In the game, this battle sees Rivet and Clank rail grind through an extremely cinematic series of encounters, with the player having to jump between rail tracks as the giant robot Fixer shoots lasers and smashes the surrounding environment. In LEGO form, this set could feature a large Fixer build, perhaps only featuring its head and shoulders to keep the piece count down. A small rail could encircle the stationary Fixer, with a Rivet minifigure being included and a small Clank printed piece added as a backpack accessory.

If a potential LEGO set wanted to focus on a set piece that included the titular hero, then Rift Apart's opening parade sequence could be a fun set, including some buildable Ratchet and Qwark balloons along with a Ratchet minifigure and some Goons-4-Less henchmen. A smaller Ratchet & Clank LEGO set could feature Ratchet's ship from the 2016 reboot and just include the one minifigure of Ratchet.

God of War's Ending Mural

LEGO doesn't have a long track record of producing sets based on adult properties, but recently the company has seemed to ease up on this a little, with sets based on Friends, Seinfeld, and now Horizon Forbidden West. As such, while it may be an unlikely pipe dream, LEGO could make a God of War set one day.

There's plenty of moments in God of War that could make for an exciting LEGO set, but a fairly simple and likely cheaper option would be the final moments of the game. The set could include the prophetic mural, including printed pieces that showcase the ominous predicted future of Kratos and Atreus. To make the set a little more exciting, the peak of the mountain could also be included.

Alternatively, the Baldur fight would make for a great LEGO set, with the wood cabin acting as the primary build and some trees and ridges acting as the secondary component to the set. Some fun play features could also be included, like the trees falling down, and the rock crumbling when a LEGO minifigure is pushed against it.
