After a long wait since the release of Pikmin 3, Pikmin 4 is right around the corner. The previous entry in the Pikmin series first came out on the Wii U back on July 13, 2013. What Are the Pre-Order Bonuses for Pikmin 4?
While it varies from game to game, pre-order bonuses are very common in AAA games. In the case of Pikmin 4, there is an entire collection of pre-order bonuses to incentivize players to purchase the game from certain places. For players who purchase the physical version of Pikmin 4, the pre-order bonuses are as follows.

Is There a Collector's Edition for Pikmin 4?
Collector's Editions are a common thing for AAA games, but there is not a Collector's Edition or any Special Edition for Pikmin 4. If players want any extras, they will have to choose a place to pre-order from that has a bonus available.
What's Pikmin 4's Release Date and Time?
Pikmin 4 releases exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on July 21st. For players who have purchased the digital version of Pikmin 4, they can pre-load now. Once the game has been pre-loaded, players who pre-ordered the digital version of Pikmin 4 will be able to play the game at midnight EST on the 21st. For players in PDT, this means they will be able to play the game on the 20th at 9 PM. For players who purchased the game physically, they will be able to pick the game up on the 21st from where ever they purchased it.
Does Pikmin 4 Have Multiplayer?
Pikmin 4 supports local two-player split screen co-op. In the optional Dandori Battle mode, players can either co-operate or compete with a second player to make as much progress as possible before time runs out. Even in story mode, a second player can help out by stunning enemies and using items to aid the first player. Unfortunately, it is not possible to play the entire story mode with another player roaming around like it was in Pikmin 3.
What's the File Size for Pikmin 4?
Pikmin 4 is nowhere near as large as other games like Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but players will want to make sure that there is space on their Switch. If players download Pikmin 4, it will require 10.5 GB of free space.
Is Pikmin 4 a Reboot?
While it has been a long time since there was a Pikmin game, Pikmin 4is not a reboot. That said, it doesn't require players to have knowledge of the previous games. Upon starting up the game, players will be introduced to Olimar and will learn the basic premise of the series.
Is Pikmin 4 Open World?
As players explore and search for Olimar, they will have a lot of ground to cover. While progressing through the story, Pikmin 4 players will unlock more stages to explore. These stages are fairly large, but they aren't connected like in an open world game.
Will Pikmin 4 Have a Day Limit?
In the first Pikmin, players had to beat the game in 30 days, or they would get a game over. This is not the case for Pikmin 4. Players can take all the time they need to rescue their team and Olimar, which makes the journey much less stressful. There is currently no option to enable a time limit, but there is a day/night cycle that players have to keep in mind while exploring.
