As players bring more Castaways back to Rescue Command, more functions and options will open up. There are also rewards for completing certain quest lines, but provided the quest giver has been rescued.

How To Unlock Oatchi Legendary Skill

How to Unlock Oatchi Legendary Skill

Starting off with the rescue pup. Oatchi is obviously an invaluable tool in the adventures of Pikmin 4, and this is due to the many skills that it can pick up. From learning how to rush to attack enemy, using its strength to replace Pikmin, or being a second-in-command out in the field, Oatchi is extremely useful.

Should players want to go even further with Oatchi, it is a must to gather all the Castaways to gain enough Pup Drive to master all of its skills. Once all the preceding skills have been mastered, Captain Shepherd will reveal that Oatchi will be able to learn the Legendary Skill, Infinite Rush. This gives Oatchi unlimited stamina, allowing it to sprint in any direction without stopping, making exploration even more seamless.

The skull will cost eight Pup Drive, so be sure to rescue everybody in sight to have enough to unlock it.

For those that hate wasting time plucking out all the Pikmin sprouts in the ground, the tool known as the Plucking Whistle will certainly come in handy. Using this tool will cause all Pikmin sprouts to emerge from the ground, making those Dandori Challenges and Battles much more manageable.

To gain access to this tool, the prerequisite is to wipe out Russ' inventory at the Lab, which will then lead to the Plucking Whistle becoming available. It will cost 240 Raw Materials to add it to the inventory.
