A few days ago, PewDiePie hosted a livestream where he played the children's game Roblox in an attempt to boost his subscriber count and maintain his lead over rival channel T-Series. The livestream had some technical hiccups, but was an overall success, giving PewDiePie enough subscribers to ensure that T-Series won't overtake him as the most-subscribed channel on YouTube for some time to come. Unfortunately for fans of the YouTuber hoping to see him create more Roblox content in the future, though, PewDiePie has been banned from the game.

Not only was PewDiePie's Roblox id banned, but it seems Roblox has an anti-PewDiePie stance in general. It seems as though the game is suspending and warning Roblox players who create PewDiePie-related content, like "subscribe to PewDiePie" t-shirts, for example. This is apparently due to the various controversies surrounding the world famous YouTuber, specifically his video where he unknowingly recommended a channel that had been known for anti-Semitic content in the past.

That particular PewDiePie controversy had some far-reaching consequences. It saw some online drama over an Ubisoft employee who was allegedly fired for calling on game developers to end PewDiePie's career, only for it to later be revealed that she hadn't, in fact, been fired for her comments.

It also saw a teacher speak out against PewDiePie in class in a lecture that was recorded and went viral. Unfortunately for the teacher and the school he works at, the viral video inspired people who didn't agree with him to send death threats.

This Roblox controversy is unlikely to blow up like some past PewDiePie controversies. And it's also unlikely to keep him from streaming games as the war with T-Series rages on. In fact, there have been calls in YouTube comment sections for PewDiePie to stream Minecraft next, as that game that was the subject of his very first YouTube video and helped start his career.

Whether or not PewDiePie streams Minecraft remains to be seen, but fans can count on him having some more tricks up his sleeve.
