Persona 5 Tactica's Quests act as a way for the game to test the player's knowledge of its mechanics. Each quest offers a unique challenge and often forces players to utilize certain party members. Lavanza's Trials, unlocked in the final Kingdom of the game, are a set of "final exam" challenges that allow the Phantom Thieves to unlock additional power within themselves.

Lavenza's First Trial in Persona 5 Tactica is a race to the finish where players must get a party member to the goal zone in a single turn, not unlike Quest 2. This time, however, players will need to make use of elevators to create a path while also using the 'One More' mechanic to extend the group's movement enough to get someone to the goal.

How to Complete Lavenza's First Trial

This trial locks the party to Joker, Morgana, and Makoto. Players should begin by moving Morgana up and using Garu to throw the exposed enemy and get 'one more,' before moving up to activate the red elevators and expose an enemy. Have Joker shoot that enemy and move across to the other red elevator, then swap over to Morgana and send the elevator back up.

Use Joker's melee attack to knock down the exposed legionnaire here, then move him onto the blue elevator. Makoto can hit an exposed enemy with Frei to get 'one more,' using this momentum to get over to the red elevator Morgana has been standing on. Send the elevator back up, move Morgana off it and as far ahead as possible, then have Makoto send it back down to expose an enemy for Morgana to shoot.

Use this momentum to move Morgana into position then have Joker activate the blue elevator to create a path. Morgana should move further up and then Makoto should hit the big Legionnaire to expose it. Players can then snipe the big Legionnaire with Morgana to get 'one more' and use that extra movement to move him into the objective area.

With the quest complete, players can now access the skills "Scythes of Eternal Darkness", "Wheel of Life", and "Atomic Hollow" for Joker, Morgana, and Makoto, respectively. These are the most powerful skills for their respective elements and can dish out incredible damage.
