With the release of Persona 5 Tactica coming in a few months, this is probably one of the many ways that the development team is building the player base's excitement for the game's launch.
There is no doubt that Persona 5 is one of the most popular titles in the franchise. Atlus has developed many Persona 5 spin-off video games over the years, taking its story and the Phantom Thieves characters across different genres such as hack-and-slash with Persona 5 Strikers, rhythm through Dancing in Starlight, and now, tactical RPG with Persona 5 Tactica. The company even has the mobile genre covered through The Phantom X, which is currently still in development. Now that Tactica's release is looming closer, Atlus is likely seeking to build more interest in the title through the announcement of the free live concert.

The Persona franchise has a prolific history of hosting pop-up collaborations and events exclusive to Japan, so this concert is not a new concept from Atlus. With a series of Japan-only concerts featuring Persona music being held over the years, it is not surprising that the team is hosting one to celebrate the release of Persona 5 Tactica, too.
