There are many reasons why fans love Persona 5 and, by extension, it's updated re-release Persona 5 Royal, be it its cast of characters, its stylish visuals, challenging gameplay, or its astounding soundtrack. The music, in particular, is universally praised by many, with The Game Awards even holding a mini concert featuring Persona 5 singer Lyn.

iam8bit is well aware of how much fans love the music, so not only has it confirmed that it's bringing back its Persona 5 vinyl soundtrack, but it has an all-new Persona 5 Royal vinyl coming out too, which contains an additional 29 new tracks.

While Royal is probably best known for introducing whole new story content, with an entire additional story arc taking place after the original game's ending and a new party member in the form of Kasumi Yoshizawa, it featured new songs as well, like extra tracks in Mementos and a new opening song, Colors Flying High.

Orders for both vinyls will go live later today at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT and anyone who pre-orders the Royal one before December 31 will receive an extra 7" record that contains Hymn of the Soul, the track that plays in the Velvet Room.

The original Persona 5 vinyl will be priced at $100, though there will also be a limited Deluxe Edition for $175 that comes with the full soundtrack. The Royal one, since it has less music, will cost $75.

It doesn't stop there either. iam8bit has also confirmed that it's re-releasing five other vinyls that have been heavily requested by fans: Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, Johto Legends, Rocket League x Monstercat, and Cuphead. Pre-orders for those will be made available at the same aforementioned time.

Even though it's been three years now since the original game released, fans still have some other Persona 5 related content to look forward to. This coming February will finally see the Western release of Persona 5 Strikers, a spin-off/sequel that released in Japan earlier this year and instead plays like a Dynasty Warriors game.

At the time of writing, though, Strikers could be the Phantom Thieves' final adventure, as there are currently no plans for future Persona 5 spin-offs. Next year does mark the 25th anniversary of the Persona series, so Atlus likely has some plans and/or announcements, but the question is if it has another spin-off planned (like a fighting game) or if it will divert all its focus on an entirely new story and cast of characters with Persona 6.
