A new collaboration between Persona 5 Royal and Japanese brand SuperGroupies has just been announced, and this time the collection of fashion items features designs based on the game's main character, Joker. Producing wearable yet unique pieces inspired by Persona 5 Royal's protagonist, fans of the role-playing game will likely consider adding these items to their wardrobes.

For gamers who are fond of adding their fandoms to their daily outfits, they will be quite familiar with SuperGroupies. It is one of the few Japanese fashion brands that officially collaborates with video games companies, producing lifestyle pieces that can easily be included into a fan's daily routine. Some of the brand's previous collections featured Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, and more. This new Persona 5 Royal collection is not Atlus's first, the company has had fashion items for Persona 3, 4, 5, and Shin Megami Tensei produced by SuperGroupies before, but it seems this is the first that solely features the Phantom Thief Joker.

According to the SuperGroupies site, the new Persona 5 Royal collection consists of three main items: a coat, a backpack, and a necklace. All of these pieces are inspired by Joker, featuring elements of the character that fans can easily recognize. The coat is priced at $260 USD outside taxes, and is mainly inspired by the Phantom Thief's black outerwear. There is also a woven tag inside the coat inspired by the group's Calling Card. Costing $200 USD outside taxes, the Joker backpack has an all-black exterior with a deep red interior. It has small details like an Arsene woven tag inside and a Joker mask outside. Finally, the necklace costs $130 USD before taxes, and it is a gold-colored piece that has Joker's dagger and mask as featured elements.

Even though the collection only has three items, they seem to be very well-thought-out. Fans can easily pick up the whole collection and make themselves look very similar to the leader of the Phantom Thieves, or they can choose one of the few pieces if they want to be more subtle in their fandom. No matter which product they buy, fans will have to wait until mid-March 2024 to get their items as that is when their delivery is scheduled.

Depending on how the items sell, this new collaboration could pave the way for more pieces dedicated to a specific member of the Phantom Thieves. Hopefully Atlus answers the demand, and works together with SuperGroupies again to make more collections in the future.

Persona 5 Royal is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
