Social Links are an important aspect to Persona 4 Golden when it comes to both story and battle. One of the most important Social Links to complete is the Hermit Arcana Social Link where players bond with the Fox living at Tatsuhime Shrine.
The main appeal of this Social Link is in how the Fox functions as a service for players in Persona 4. After initiating the Social Link the Fox will offer a full SP recovery for the player's party in exchange for yen. However, this can get expensive as players level up and spend longer times in the TV World.
In order to get better and better discounts with the Fox, players need to complete a variety of quests that can be started by talking to the Fox at Tatsuhime Shrine. With each level of the Hermit Social Link, the better the discounts.
I Wish For Love
After starting this quest, go to the shoe lockers on the first floor of Yasogami High and talk to the girl there. Only one step of this quest can be done per day. The next day, the girl will be across from classroom 2-2 and players need to pick the first dialogue option. Talking to her again the day after that will complete the quest and going to the shrine will level up the Social Link.
I Wish I Didn't Crave Snacks
The subject of this quest is a woman in the Shopping District. She will ask for a unique type of snack. Players will then get the option to ask Chie for Meat Gum when she's available and players will be able to give it to them woman. Going to the shrine will then level up the Social Link.
We Wish Our Dog Would Return
A dog will appear in various locations over a few days where the player will need to talk to it gently. In order, these locations are:
- Floodplain
- North Shopping District
- Floodplain
- Floodplain
On the last visit, players need to give the dog a Steak Skewer, which can be purchased in the North Shopping District. Going to the shrine will then level up the Social Link.
I Wish I Had Friends
The subject of this quest is a little boy by the sign in the Floodplain. When meeting him, players need to give him a Prize Sticker, which can be gotten from ordering anything from the Home Shopping Channel. The next day, he will need a different sticker, so players need to talk to Nanako at home and ask her about stickers. When offered one, players need to select "Thank You." Talking to the boy the day after giving him this new sticker will complete the quest and players can go back to the shrine.
I Wish My Life Had Meaning Again
The first step is to talk to the man standing outside the closed down hobby shop in the North Shopping District. After hearing his story, the player must agree to complete a model for him. It will take four nights to complete at the player's work table, but it will increase diligence. Showing the man the complete model will complete the quest and players can check in with the Fox.
I Wish I Was Better at Speaking
In order to complete this quest, players need to have both Rank 3 Understanding and Courage. The subject of this quest is a girl who will stand on Yasogami High's roof when the school is open and it's not raining outside. The player needs to offer her speaking lessons. The next day, players need to pick "Apologize to her" and the quest will be complete.
I Wish I Didn't Fear Cats
The subject of this quest is a man in the Floodplain. Talk to him and ask "Is it a cat?" The answer after that doesn't matter. Then, players need to go outside of the Dojima Residence and talk to the cat outside it and choose to bring the man to see it. The next day, players need to talk to the man and give him a Red Goldfish, which can be caught via fishing. The quest will be complete by talking to him the next day.
I Wish My Wallet Would Return
Back in the Floodplain is a woman by a garbage can that can be found on non-rainy days. Talking with her will start the wallet search. First search by the sign in the lower section of the Floodplain. Give the wallet to the woman. Then, go to the telephone pole by the shrine and look around the ground until there is a prompt for the bushes. Checking them will get players the woman's real wallet. Taking it to the woman will complete the quest.
I Wish to See the Samegawa's Guardian
The wisher here is the old man by the river in the Floodplain. First, players need to get a Huge Fish and show it to the man. Then, they need to ask about the Guardian and agree to catch it. This fish can only be caught during rainy weather or any day during December. Showing this fish to the man will complete the quest and talking to the fox one last time will complete the Hermit Social Link.
