Highlights

  • Persona 3 Reload offers a variety of activities players need to choose from wisely.
  • Working at Chagall Cafe is an efficient use of time, earning yen and boosting Charm and Courage three nights a week.
  • While other part-time jobs have similar benefits, Chagall Cafe arguably stands out as the most accommodating choice in Persona 3 Reload due to its availability.

Persona 3 Reload has no shortage of activities for players to partake in and which ones players embrace is important throughout. Still, Persona 3 Reload being as long as it is means players don’t have to worry fully about not having an opportunity to meet a goal, even if opportunities become scarce at times.

It can be easy to forget some of the available activities on Persona 3 Reload’s Tatsumi Port Island due to the sheer quantity of them, while others are more significant or lucrative and therefore more deserving of the player’s spare time. Social Links can all be tackled at players’ discretion but, when yen is hard to come by and Social Stat ranks are required to engage in certain activities or hangouts, there’s rarely a better choice than to work part-time at Paulownia Mall’s cafe.

Each Part-Time Job Has Its Merits in Persona 3 Reload

Chagall Cafe not only puts hard-earned yen in players’ pockets but also gifts them with Charm and Courage. As far as being efficient with one’s time in such an immersive and onward-plunging social sim, it doesn’t get much better on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings in Persona 3 Reload.

Plus, because most Social Link hangouts occur during the daytime or after school hours, there’s hardly ever a more compelling argument for players to be whisked away from the allure of this fruitful part-time gig. It’s rare that so much can be accomplished and awarded in a single activity—let alone three times a week—and two Social Stats increasing simultaneously is difficult to pass by.

Of course, working part-time at Screen Shot or Be Blue V is a similarly efficient activity choice rewarding players with yen and a pair of Social Stats, but only being able to work at the cinema on days off from school limits how often it’s a viable or optimal endeavor, at least until summer. Likewise, because players can only work at Screen Shot and Be Blue V during the day, they run the likely risk of cutting into many opportune Social Link hangouts.

Be Blue V also isn’t open until the end of July, though studious players may have already been working passively toward Charm and Academics during class.

Chagall Cafe is Arguably the Superior Part-Time Job in Persona 3 Reload

Each part-time job has its advantages and disadvantages, but Chagall Cafe has an edge as the most accommodating and leisurely choice. It doesn’t clash with too many other activities in the evening before summer begins, especially since players can essentially do everything available to them in Tartarus on any given night depending on how long it takes them to reach the next barrier and how many of Persona 3 Reload’s Twilight Fragments are in their possession in order to prolong their stay with enough SP between each party member.

Plus, by the time players have maxed out Charm and Courage they can begin making up their Academics points elsewhere in no time. Players may feel free to spend as many waking hours as possible eating hamburgers at Wilduck or selecting money from the allotted rewards in any successful Shadow encounter, but the cafe is a great choice for players who are regularly busy with a handful of Social Links during the day and can make time to work three evenings a week.
