Within Persona 3 Reload, you'll find yourself coming into contact with many different rare shadows, and one of these is the Supreme Hand. This is one of the hardest rare 'hand' shadows to defeat, as it doesn't have the same weaknesses and requires a lot of time and effort to take down.

If you keep struggling to defeat Supreme Hands when you find them, and they run away, this guide will provide you with some strategies to use on your next trip to Tartarus. There's a lot more to them than you might think, and you'll need to make sure you set up the right team.

Where to Find Supreme Hand in Persona 3 Reload

The Supreme Hand is a higher-level version of some of the other rare shadows you might have seen in Tartarus. Some of the early rare shadows will be the Wealth Hand, Treasure Hand, Precious Hand, and more.

The Supreme Hand can only be found once you reach the Yabbashah Block, from Floors 77 to 117. Rare shadows will appear at random, but you'll know one is on the floor, since Fuuka will announce it to you when you arrive there. The rare shadow will appear on your map as a red dot with gold lining.

You'll need to initiate the battle with the Supreme Hand by sneaking up on it and striking it with your weapon. Its weaknesses and resistances are:

  • Weakness: None
  • Null: All Magic Elements

The Supreme Hand has no weaknesses, similar to the Priestess, and will completely block any of your Magic attacks. This means you'll only be able to hit it with Slash, Pierce, and Strike Physical attacks. While they won't deal additional damage, since the Supreme Hand has no particular weaknesses, this will be the only way to whittle down its health.

How to Defeat Supreme Hand in Persona 3 Reload

Since Supreme Hands can only be taken down using Physical Attacks, you will want to ensure that you bring along party members who focus on this, and utilize the main character's Personas that have Physical Attacks.

The best teammates to consider are:

  • Junpei
  • Akihiko
  • Aigis

In particular, the class clown Junpei is one of the best characters for the Supreme Hand since the vast majority of his Persona's Skills are either Strike, Slash, or Pierce attacks. Akihiko and Aigis's Personas will have a few Strike and Pierce attacks as well.

As for some Personas you might want to consider using, these are the best options:

  • Neko Shogun
  • Eligor
  • Susano-o

These are just a couple examples of some Personas that you can unlock in Tartarus or fuse, but there are plenty others you can utilize as well. You'll want to remember that the Supreme Hand needs to be defeated quickly, since there's a chance it could run away.
