Monad doors and passages are one of the many changes to Persona 3 Reload from the base game. Just about all of these doors and passages operate the exact same up until floor 255, which has the last Monad Passage in Tartarus.

Players who clear the Monad Passage will eventually find a Monad Door that looks different than others and can't be opened right away. Behind this door is the strongest enemy in the game that players will need to set the stage for before facing.

How To Open The Final Monad Door (Floor 255)

Opening this door is directly tied to completing Elizabeth's Requests. The first requirement will be for players to complete all of the Elizabeth hangouts outside the Velvet Room, ending with Request 81 where she visits the player's room. These hangouts are unlocked by completing many of her requests, with the amount completed being the important factor more so than which requests are being finished. These hangouts do act as requests to be completed but will require players to be outside of Tartarus, so use the Rewind feature if it's already January 31st.

Players will also need to complete Request 100 by bringing Elizabeth a Bloody Button. Bloody Buttons are dropped by defeating the Reaper in Persona 3 Reload, who will appear on any floor in Tartarus should the player stay there too long. This request will also give players the Divine Pillar, which is recommended to be equipped by the protagonist for the upcoming fight.

Once Request 100 and the final hangout in Request 81 is completed, return to Elizabeth. She will then offer the player Request 101 and tell them to travel to the depths of Tartarus alone. Players will need to remove all party members and travel back to that final Monad door on Floor 255. Be sure to save and make the protagonist as ready as possible before entering the door.

Elizabeth will be inside the Final Monad Door and reveal herself to be the great enemy. She will then request the protagonist fight her in a one-on-one fight. This is by far the hardest fight in the game as players will be fighting alone and against an enemy that gets two attacks. Elizabeth also has access to various Personas she can switch between to change her affinities and abilities. This is not a straightforward fight and will require players to be very crafty in order to beat her as this fight has unspecified rules the player must follow.
