Fortunes in Persona 3 Reload are items that can be used to influence Tartarus' atmosphere. They're great to use if you want to spawn rare enemies or want to battle stronger Shadows. You can buy them from the Fortune Teller at Club Escapade in the evening once you meet the Social Stat requirement. As you progress through Persona 3 Reload's story, you'll unlock more Fortunes/Modifiers to try out in Tartarus. Depending on what you're looking to spawn on your next Tartarus visit, you'll want to make it a habit of visiting the Fortune Teller Services before The Dark Hour.

How to Unlock Club Escapade
You can find the Fortune Teller Services at Club Escapade starting on 4/21. The Club only opens during the evenings, and you'll need Level 2 Courage (Ordinary) to get in. You can raise your Courage early in-game by doing any of the following:
- Sleeping during class when prompted.
- Drinking the concoction from Mr. Edogawa in the Nurse's Office (only available if you visited Tartarus the night before).
- Eating the Mystery Burger at Wilduck Burger in Iwatodai Strip Mall during After School or the Evening.
- Playing "House of the Deceased" at the Arcade (Game Parade) in Paulownia Mall.
- Buying and using a Courage-enhancing software on the shared Computer in Iwatodai Dorm. Softwares are purchased from the Magna Star Net Cafe in Iwatodai.
The Fortune Teller is to the right on Club Escapade's first floor. If you're just starting P3R, you won't have many Modifiers to buy. However, as you unlock more features in-game, you'll unlock more Modifiers.
The cost of a Modifier can be quite pricey for new players. When you first visit, she'll sell three Modifiers at 3000 yen each. You will unlock more as you progress the story.
If your Social Stats are level 1 or level 2, then it's advised to use your money elsewhere , such as Wakatsu or Wilduck.

Rarity Fortunes and Soul Fortunes are the two you may end up buying the most. Gamble Fortunes aren't bad either, but as their name indicates, you may be taking a risk by using them if you're under-level. However, they may provide useful if you're trying to farm specific materials/drop items from Shadows. You also can't stack Fortunes, so you're confined to one Fortune a day.
You'll want to purchase Fortunes/Modifiers on the day you plan on going to Tartarus. The effects won't carry overnight, so if you purchase one and choose to spend your Evening time doing something else, you're not going to receive any of its effects. They're 3000 a piece, so it's best to not let that money go to waste.
You'll need to buy a Fortune Modifier for Elizabeth's request: "Experimenting with Fortune Telling," which becomes available on 5/10. Completing this task will reward you x3 Speed Incense 1.
