If you're looking for a Persona that primarily uses magic in the mid-game phase of Persona 3 Reload, then you may want to consider Virtue (Justice). This Persona uses Light-based Affinity Skills for attack, but it's also capable of Resisting and Repelling two Affinities. Much like any Persona, Virtue can be swapped out with a stronger Persona as you progress through the story. Even if you never use Virtue in battle, you may want to have it in your "party" when you spend time with the Justice Social Link. Virtue can also be used in different Fusions, so it may be worth registering it to the compendium on a brand-new Persona 3 Reload file.

How to Get Virtue (Fusion Recipes)

Which Personas Create Virtue?

persona 3 reload - virtue fusion recipe

You can get Virtue from Shuffle Time on the Tziah Block (Floors 119 - 144) of Tartarus, but you can also obtain it via Fusion. For those looking to just register it to the compendium, you'll want to trigger Shuffle Time when exploring the first half of the Tziah Block (unlocked on 9/10). There's a chance that Virtue's card will appear. However, getting Virtue through Shuffle Time means it will only have its Innate Skills. You won't be able to transfer Skills to Virtue unless you Fuse it.

There are various Fusion Recipes for Virtue, but the protagonist needs to be at level 32 or higher. Most of the Personas used in Fusing Virtue can be obtained in the Yabbashah Block. Here are four different Fusions that you can try:

More Information About Virtue

Virtue Weaknesses & Skills

persona 3 reload - virtue stats

If you want to use Virtue in combat, then you'll want to know its Affinity weaknesses, stats, and which Skills it should inherit. Virtue's best stat is Magic followed by Luck and Agility. Its Endurance is low, and while its Attack isn't bad, its Skill Set is primarily Magic and Passive. Thus, unless you're using incense to enhance its Strength, you're better off focusing on its Magic Prowess when fighting Shadows.

Weak

Virtue only has one Affinity weakness: Dark. This means you'll want to give it a Skill Card that nullifies or resists the Dark element. Being weak to this Affinity means Virtue is more susceptible to insta-kill/Mudo Skills, so you'll want to be careful. On the plus side, Virtue Resists Wind and Repels Light, making it one of your "first" Personas in Tziah Block to have innate resistances. If you want to give Virtue more Resistances, you'll want to inherit Skills via Fusion or use Skill Cards.

Level

Effect

Magaru

Innate

Light Wind damage to all opponents.

Kouga

Innate

Medium Light damage to one opponent.

Null Poison

33

Prevents the user from being poisoned.

Mahama

34

Light chance of Light insta-kill to all foes.

Light Boost

35

Increases the damage of Light Skills by 25%.

Makouga

37

Medium Light damage to all opponents.

Virtue will start out with Magaru and Kouga, but it will learn more Skills as it levels. You'll notice that its Skills are Light Affinity rather than Wind. If you prefer the Kouga-based Light over insta-kill Light, you may want to replace Mahama for another Skill. Depending on how much you want to build Virtue, you can even replace Kouga and Makouga with the stronger Kougaon and Makougaon.

  • You'll want to cover Virtue's Dark weakness, so use a Null Dark or Resist Dark Skill Card to take care of this. If you're Fusing, then you may have a Persona with this Skill that can be passed down to Virtue. Between Null Dark and Resist Dark, Null Dark is preferred. This guarantees Virtue will not be able to take any damage from Dark Skills.
  • Invigorate 3 is another useful Passive Skill. This will restore 7 SP to the user for every turn in battle.
  • You can also teach Virtue Concentrate to potentially double the power of its next Magic Attack.
  • If you want to keep Virtue's Wind Skill, consider swapping it for the stronger Magarudyne.
