As a series, Persona has a well deserved reputation for modern turn-based RPGs with an intriguing plot and likable characters that leave players hooked all the way until the credits roll. Unfortunately, some of the older games like Persona 3 did not age well.
To make Persona 3 more accessible to modern audiences, Atlus remade Persona 3 from the ground up with all the style and modern technology that made Persona 5 such a colossal hit. The remake is called Persona 3 Reload. Naturally, there are several editions of the game to choose from. Here are the differences between each version, so that you can choose the one that is right for you.

Standard Edition
Regardless of if you are purchasing it physically or digitally, this is the standard edition of the game. Standard Edition is just a copy of Persona 3 Reload and nothing else. If you pre-order the Standard Edition (or any edition of the game), you will receive the Persona 4 Golden BGM Set DLC. The Standard Edition of Persona 3 Reload costs $69.99.
Digital Deluxe Edition
If you want the digital version of Persona 3 Reload but want a few extras, then the Digital Deluxe Edition is for you. This edition of the game includes Persona 3 Reload, a digital artbook, and the soundtrack to the game (also digital). The Digital Deluxe Edition is slightly more expensive and will cost $79.99.
Digital Premium Edition
The Digital Premium Edition of Persona 3 Reload is a great choice if you want even more bang for your buck, but not a physical copy of the game. The Digital Premium Edition will cost $99.99, but comes with a lot of extras. Just like the Digital Deluxe Edition, it includes the game, the digital artbook, and the soundtrack. On top of that, owners of the Digital Premium Edition will get an assortment of DLC.
The DLC includes cosmetic outfits from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. On top of that, this bundle of DLC will also include the Personas from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal.
Aigis Edition
The Aigis Edition is the special Collector's Edition that is intended for the hardest of the hardcore Persona fans. The Aigis Edition will cost $199.99, and will provide players with the highest amount of extras. While this edition does come with an artbook and soundtrack, they are physical editions as opposed to being digital.
All the DLC from the Digital Premium Edition is included as well. The exclusive bonus for the Aigis Edition is the Aigis Figure that you can display on your shelf. All of this comes in a beautiful box featuring Aigis on it.
The Aigis Edition is sold out in some stores. If you want this edition of the game you will need to pre-order it as soon as possible.
