One of the great things about the Persona series is its focus on the mundane alongside the fantastical. The level of detail put into both its demons and its regular school days make it stand out from many other JRPG classics, and Persona 3 Portable is no exception. A standout of Persona 3 Portable's life simulation gameplay is its friendship and dating simulation. Having the ability to grow closer with certain characters adds a lot to the game, and players are aptly rewarded in turn, with new Arcana, Personas, Social Links, and romance being available to players willing to put in the effort.

Gift Giving In Persona 3 Portable

Persona 3 Portable is mostly the same in gift-giving as any other Persona title. There are also a few exceptions players should take note of, though they mostly revolve around which gender protagonist the player has chosen. For instance, male protagonists can only give gifts to female characters, whereas female protagonists can give gifts to characters of any gender. Similarly, while the female protagonist has access to cooking and sewing classes (meaning more gift options that don't cost money) the male protagonist does not.

Gifts can also only be given on Sundays, and only when another character asks the player out on an outing. If the player asks a specific character out, they will not be able to give them a gift, so keep this in mind when planning out Social Links and which gifts to stockpile. Also, if a Social Link is maxed out, players will no longer be able to give that person a gift.

The Best Gifts For Yukari

Yukari has gifts she loves, which will give the highest points, and gifts she likes, which will give a slightly lower amount of points. Both give a large amount, though, so don't worry too much about the specifics unless players are really desperate to max out her Social Link or Arcana.

Overall, Yukari has expensive taste, but female protagonists in particular might find it easier to appease her. Some of her loved and liked gifts include options that can be handmade in the cooking and sewing classes. If players don't have access to these handmade goods, though, be prepared to save up some cash.
