Payday 3 is another fast-paced adrenaline-pumping addition to the Payday series, where players can find themselves immersed once again in the ruthless world of crime and chaos. As the Payday Gang reunites and sets out on high-stake heists, they need access to the ultimate weapons to smoothly complete their missions.

This action-packed sequel to Payday 2 has introduced a revamped collection of powerful weapons. With a variety of pistols, assault rifles, SMGs, and shotguns to choose from, players must select the ultimate primary and secondary weapons to carry on their missions. That being said, players often wonder which of these many weapons is worth their money and has good all-around stats.

CAR-4

CAR-4 is one of the two starting weapons players get when they begin Payday 3. This assault rifle is a well-rounded primary weapon and has a fully automatic firing mode. It features a high rate of fire, decent accuracy, and a large ammo pool, making this carbine a must-have weapon for both new and experienced gamers. What makes the CAR-4 stand out is that it is versatile and highly customizable. Players can modify it however they want. This flexibility makes the CAR-4 a suitable weapon for different mission scenarios.

Signature 40

The other starting weapon players unlock is Signature 40 – a reliable secondary firearm. For a default weapon, this pistol is pretty awesome. The Sig 40 features a semi-automatic firing mode and is incredibly accurate and precise, making it perfect for beginners. Like the CAR-4, players can customize this pistol to make it more powerful. They can immediately equip a silencer to make the gun quieter, making it easier to sneak up on enemies.

SP Model 11

Another powerful pistol, the SP Model 11 is a perfect choice for a secondary weapon for those who wish to replace the Sig 40. It is based on the STI Perfect 10 2011 pistols, which have increased firepower. This semi-automatic gun inflicts a good amount of damage and has a high firing rate. Players can unlock the SP Model 11 at Infamy Level 38.

SG Compact-7

This rapid-fire SMG is the best personal defense weapon for players. The SG Compact-7 has a low recoil and is well-suited for close-range combat in heists. This submachine gun is a popular choice for players who want an extremely fast-firing primary weapon without spending a lot on upgrades. Players can unlock the SG Compact-7 at Infamy Level 65.

FIK PC9

If players don’t want to wait too long for a powerful SMG like the Compact-7, they can use the FIK PC9. This fan-favorite SMG unlocks at Infamy Level 18. What makes it a better option than the Compact-7 is that this sturdy weapon features an AR design that enhances the gun’s range. The FIK PC9 is effective at both close-range and medium-range combat. It’s easy to control, has a rapid firing rate, and can be customized with a variety of attachments.

Mosconi 12 Classic

The Mosconi 12 Classic is one of the two shotguns available in Payday 3. It is a powerful and versatile weapon, that deals overwhelmingly high damage. This makes the double-barreled Mosconi an excellent choice for players who want to take out enemies quickly and efficiently. The Mosconi 12 Classic is unlocked when players reach Infamy Level 43.

KU-59

A good old Soviet classic, the KU-59 is a powerful assault rifle in Payday 3. The moment players unlock it at Infamy Level 35, they’d never want to let go of this beast. Modeled after the popular AK-47, the KU-59 is an effective fully-automatic rifle, with a high firing rate and large ammo pool. This firearm is the perfect choice for players who prefer playing with AK-style guns and want to take down as many enemies as possible.

Signature 403

The Signature 403 is hands down one of the best pistols in Payday 3. It is a stable and reliable handgun with the U.S. Army’s stamp of approval. Players can unlock Sig 403 when they reach Infamy Level 59.

Even without upgrades, it is accurate and fires smoothly, making it an excellent choice for a secondary weapon.

SA A144

Fans of the CAR-4 will absolutely love the SA A144. It is one of the two available Marksman Rifles in the game and is unlocked when players reach Infamy Level 15. The SA A144 is a great choice for players who want to take out enemies from a distance. This high-precision rifle only takes one shot to kill most enemies – even those who are heavily armored. It can even be customized with silencers, scopes, and extended mags, making the SA A144 a solid weapon choice in Payday 3.

VF-7S

The VF-7S is a high-precision assault rifle that is used by military specialists all over the world. It is an end-game final base weapon, unlocked when players reach Infamy Level 77. The VF-7S is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, with high damage output and a decent firing rate. Out of the available assault rifles, it has the highest armor penetration. It is best used as a single-shot weapon and is capable of killing enemies with a single headshot. This makes the VF-7S an efficient and reliable firearm for all players in Payday 3.
