Ultimate Chicken Horse is a competitive platformer where players play as farm animals. Every round, a player selects an item to place on the map. Items could include blades, moving platforms, and trampolines. Items are supposed to make it more difficult for your rivals to make it to the finish line.

Ultimate Chicken Horse is an excellent couch coop game where you can scream and laugh at each other. If you are anything like a normal group of friends then you may even try to mess with each other's controllers when traversing the map. Ultimate Chicken Horse is a must-play party game.

7 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

As aforementioned, Nintendo has many games that serve as party games. Arguably their largest franchise, Super Smash Bros.is an excellent option when it comes to parties. Gather three friends around the television so you can pummel their Nintendo character's face.

With the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, players have a massive variety of characters to choose from. If you want to spice things up then all of you pick random characters. You will have a blast playing characters you have never touched or extremely dislike. Eventually, you all will be screaming at the tv screen.

6 Mario Kart (Series)

The Mario Kart franchise is full of games and each of them is fun with friends. You'll find plenty of hilarious moments on Rainbow Road. Seeing your friends struggle to get to first place will make you want to compete again.

Like Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart is full of characters and carts to choose from. You can customize their vehicles to get the edge over your opponent. Of course, you are going to struggle just as much when Rainbow road comes up. Just accept your defeat and keep having fun.

5 Overcooked 2

Don't know how to cook? No problem! Overcooked 2 is the perfect time to learn how to cook with your friends and family. Gather everyone around and experience the hell that is Overcooked 2. You'll have a blast trying to make a simple hamburger in the middle of a swamp.

Overcooked 2 is a very fun game, but it may cause some frustration once in a while. Coordinate with your teammates to make the best damn burger you can. Time is of the essence and you need to ensure your team knows the controls. It will serve very beneficial once you start.

4 Gang Beasts

Select your odd costume, pick a color, and start throwing your friends into meat grinders. Gang Beasts is a goofy brawler where players are given a map full of places to potentially die. It may be a glass elevator or at the top of a lighthouse. Regardless, there is a way to die and you will die.

Gang Beasts is a sloppy fighting game which is a good thing. The controls are bizarre, which will take some time getting used to. You'll be able to punch, kick and headbutt your friends and family. Once they are knocked out, pick them up and throw them in that meat grinder.

3 Mario Party (Series)

Now, there are several different Mario Party games so it is difficult to choose the best one. That said, any Mario Party installment would be a blast with friends and family. Mario Party houses great boards and exciting mini-games all in one game. These features really make the game shine.

If you do not have enough people for a full game then a bot will do just fine. Be wary though, those slimy bots will typically pull slick moves on you so be ready. Mario Party is full of fun when playing with friends. Just like every other game on this list, you'll be screaming at your friends in no time.

2 The Jack Box Party Pack (Series)

The Jack Box Party Pack is full of great games. There are many different installments with newer iterations of older games in recent packs. Fibbage and Drawful are two exceptional games you will have a blast with. The best part about this series is that it uses your smartphone rather than your controller.

Simply go to the specified URL, type in a password and start playing. Most games play up to eight people which makes it great for small gatherings. There are other games that fit many more people so you can pick and choose as you see fit.

1 Wii Sports

Every single Wii console packaged a Wii Sports game with it. The game featured five different sports: bowling, golf, baseball, tennis, and boxing. These sports were exceptionally fun on the Wii because, well, you didn't sweat as much. However, the game had a lot of other things going for it. It was a perfect party game.

The Wii was a household name and almost everyone had one. That meant everyone had Wii Sports too. Invite friends over to beat each other in bowling or bowling. Hell, you could literally beat them in boxing. Thes games were simple, yet full of replay value.
