At its core, Party Animals is very reminiscent of Gang Beasts in the fact that players need to attack the opposing team and get rid of them by knocking them out and throwing them out of bounds. There are several different moves that gamers can perform while playing a match, and some of them hit much harder than others.

5 The Dropkick

As one of the hardest-hitting moves in the entire game, the dropkick is a terrific move for players to keep in mind when playing any sort of game in Party Animals. That said, the dropkick should only be utilized when gamers are practically entirely sure that it will hit the opponent because if it misses, players will go flying along the stage.

This move is exceptionally dangerous on stages that are fairly easy to fall off of, such as Ice Breaker. To get the best out of the dropkick, players will want to begin using this move on maps that have larger, and more open areas that don't necessarily pose a threat in regard to falling off of them. One map that is significant for the dropkick, is the Lollypop Factory. To perform a dropkick, players simply need to coordinate themselves with the game's wonky physics, jump, and then press the kick button.

4 Tuck-And-Roll

Rolling in Party Animals is one of the smartest ways to dodge a move, or to simply get somewhere a little quicker than one would by normally running. Rolling is also an excellent way to throw an opponent off their guard when fighting. Rolling into an opponent has a chance to both knock them out and knock the player out (assuming the player hits their head).

In games like Beast Football and Beast Soccer, the roll comes in clutch more than once. It's a way of outrunning the opponent, especially when they're busy holding on to something, such as a ball. The roll is also a wonderful way to help an ally animal get to where they need to go for an objective game, by defending them from opposing attackers and rolling into them. To perform the roll, players simply need to press the headbutt button while running.

3 The Heavy Punch

By far the best move in the entire game is the heavy punch. The heavy punch is an easy move to pull off, as well as an incredibly powerful one, making it a go-to action in Party Animals. Unlike the regular punch, the heavy punch causes the animal to rapidly pull their arm back and launch a devastating punch toward wherever the player is running towards. This intense punch has the capability of knocking out an animal in a single blow if it hits an opponent directly.

Luckily, the heavy punch doesn't have any drawbacks that would prevent one from using it, so players should be using the heavy punch whenever possible. On maps that have a good amount of area to cover, players should consider using the heavy punch much more. In 1v1 circumstances, the heavy punch is especially an animal's best tool. To perform a heavy punch, players just need to press the punch button while running.

2 Headbutt

The headbutt is a move in Party Animals, a game much like Gang Beasts, that players should be a little cautious with. That's because it also has the ability to knock out the player if the move lands too many times, or falls into an opposing attack. But, the headbutt is powerful enough to knock an enemy out if it lands directly on their head, making it a great choice in specific situations. One of the best circumstances for players to use the headbutt is when facing an enemy who is attempting to climb back up onto a platform.

When this happens, players should stand in front of the struggling animal, and headbutt away. Since the headbutt reaches far down, it will land directly on the opposing animal's head, knocking them out and sending them to their defeat. Players simply need to press the headbutt button to perform the move (while not running).

1 Regular Punch

Unlike the regular kick, the regular punch is a move that players should actually consider when playing Party Animals. That's because due to its rapid-fire capabilities, the regular punch is prominent for ensuring that a knocked-out animal stays knocked out. The regular punch is also quite useful when encountering crowds of enemies. That's because when spamming the punch button, players will perform multiple punches under rapid succession, making for an excellent tool when taking on multiple opponents.

The regular punch is also a fantastic move to use in general for any situation, especially in tight spaces. When in a situation that pits the player in a 1v1 with an opponent on a stage that has shrunken down due to the time that has passed, such as Ice Breaker (much like the ice map in Gang Beasts), the regular punch can be used to ensure that the player doesn't mistakenly throw themselves off of the map.

Party Animals is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
