If you want to ensure that you have immediate access to Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on your Nintendo Switch when its posted, there is a way you can preload the game to your system, so you won't have to wait for it to download when it's available. To get a head start, here are the instructions you'll want to follow:

• Start by opening up the Nintendo eShop on your Switch.
• From here, you can either search for the game, or find it under the Featured tab.
• Once you're at the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door store page, choose 'Proceed to Pre-order'.
• You can then confirm the purchase, and you'll be required to pay seven days before the release date.
