How to Save in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

As you begin your adventure through Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, you'll be introduced to the game through an opening scene between Mario and Luigi. Mario will receive a letter from Peach, asking him to come visit her in the town of Rogueport.

After you've arrived in the bustling city of Rogueport, you'll be on your own to adventure through the area and chat with characters nearby. Just at the entrance, you'll notice a bomb NPC wearing a blue striped hat. Talk to him, and he will tell you about Save Blocks. There will be a Save Block just behind him, that you can hit by pressing the jump button. This will allow you to successfully save all of your progress up to that point.

These Save Blocks will appear at specific locations throughout the game. If you go further into Rogueport, you'll find another one in the back right corner near two barrels and an inn on the left. You'll be able to easily spot these Save Blocks as you play through the remake of the popular Gamecube game, since they will be a vivid rainbow color.
