How to Get Luigi Costume in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

In order to change Mario's outfit to match that of his brother Luigi, you will need to obtain the L Emblem badge. This badge specifically can only be found while you are either in Chapter 6, or have completed it, which is found in Poshley Heights.

After you have arrived in the rich and luxurious town, either through the story line or through fast travel, head to the right until you arrive at the Poshley Sanctum. You will gain access to the building after Pennington, the 'detective' from the Excess Express, gives you the key. Inside, head to the back left of the first room where you will notice a star on the ground. Use your Spring Jump ability here, and Mario will grab onto the pole above. Slide all the way to the right side of the room, and drop onto the ledge below.

Walk down the ledge, until you find another star emblem on the ground. Use your Spring Jump ability, and slide to the right to reach the upper ledge. Approach the last star emblem, use your Spring Jump, and shift to the right to reach the highest ledge. Walk down to the end, until you notice a Plane Mode platform. Use this to fly to the other side of the room. Make your way to the star emblem here, use your Spring Jump, and shift to the left. At the end of the ledge up here, you'll spot the L Emblem badge. This badge won't take up any BP or storage space in your inventory.

How to Get Wario Costume in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

If you want to dress like the infamous villain Wario, the method for obtaining this outfit is much easier. All you will need to do is find Charlieton and purchase it from him. He is a vendor that can not only be found in the Pit of 100 Trials, but also in the main center of Rogueport. He will be just across from the main item store in the center of the town.

The only thing you will want to keep in mind here is that the W Emblem badge will run you 432 Coins, making it quite a hefty purchase. Charlieton's stock also changes occasionally as well, so when you visit him, he might not have the W Emblem badge at the time. All you will need to do in this case is go about your usual tasks, and approach him again later to see if he now has it in stock.

How to Get Waluigi Costume in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

If you want to change Mario's clothes to match Waluigi, you will first need to make sure you have access to both the W Emblem badge, and the L Emblem badge. These are required items, so although the cost of 432 Coins for the W Emblem might not seem worth it at first, you will need them if you are a fan of Waluigi.

To dress Mario as Waluigi, all you will need to do is have both the W Emblem and L Emblem equipped at the same time. Both badges take up 0 BP, so you won't need to worry about having no space left for other more helpful badges for battling.
