In Palworld, players can discover more than 100 different Pals across the vast Palpagos Islands. They can encounter distinctive challenges in various biomes such as frozen tundras, dense forests, and even active volcanoes. These monsters can either be caught or defeated by players, who can then recruit them for assistance with tasks around their Base or for support in combat against stronger adversaries.

Gobfins are salty little guys, typically found in groups and more than happy to lay the smackdown on unsuspecting players. Players should be more than happy to return their hostility. Gobfins are a fantastic source of Pal Fluids, a necessary material for crafting Cement, used to make high-level Pal Spheres. Where to Find Gobfin in Palworld

Alpha Gobfin Location

Players have a chance to encounter an Alpha Gobfin at the end of Mountain Stream Grotto dungeons, which can be found throughout the Verdant Brook region. Like all dungeon Alphas, players are not guaranteed to find this Alpha at the end of the dungeon. It may be necessary to reset the dungeon or simply defeat the presented Alpha and seek out a different dungeon location for another chance.

Wild Gobfin Location

Gobfin is unique in that it’s so prevalent in one specific region of Palworld, that area is named after it. Players can encounter wild Gobfin throughout the Gobfin Turf, which even has its own Fast Travel Point. In this area, located in the southern part of the Verdant Brook, players will encounter packs of Wild Gobfin that are Level 20 or higher. These Water-type Sea Thug Pals are hostile and can easily overwhelm lower-leveled players.

As expected, Gobfin Turf is completely overrun with a threatening amount of Gobfin, making it challenging for players looking to simply catch this Pal. Players will want to bring a Pal with powerful Electric attacks, such as Beakon or Orserk. Orserk is especially helpful for farming Gobfins as its Partner Skill Ferocious Thunder Dragon causes Water Pals to drop more items, making Gobfin an even better source for farming Pal Fluids.

Players can leverage Gobfin's power effectively by using multiple in their team. Gobfin’s Angry Shark Partner Skill offers a significant boost to attack power for players, which increases with each Gobfin added to the party. Additionally, upon reaching Skill Level 5, Angry Shark enhances players' attacks by 20%. Therefore, incorporating four Gobfins into a team results in a substantial increase in attack power. Additionally, when combined with the Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist traits, these teams of sharks become formidable allies, providing an intense damage boost. They're also great to mow down en masse to collect Pal Fluids.
