Pengullet may be one of the cuter Pals found in Palworld, but don't let its unassuming demeanor lower those defenses. Pengullet is an early-game Pal that packs a Water and Ice duo-type, remaining true to the penguin critter it is based on. Where to Find Pengullet

Like many of the smaller critters in Palworld, Pengullet won't be too hard to find once players pass the Campsite Survivor and head south down the stairs. Near the waterfall to the right of the stairs, several Pengullets are hopping around and splashing in the water. Don't be too quick to approach them, as they are always aware of their surroundings and will flee the scene at a moment's notice.

While it is never too difficult to catch up and inflict damage, it's best to practice stealth and patience for the later Pals in the world. Thankfully, they're quite common and come in groups of three or more at a time, so if one happens to run away, there will be more opportunities at the turn of the head.

Traversing the map past the main area, players can expect to find Pengullet any time there is a body of water or some sandy beaches. Pengullets love to take strolls around the water, occasionally going into the water for a swim. They can be found in bunches, making the task of catching ten of them an easy one.

As indicated in the image above, their spawning spots tend to be localized to the edge of the locations, which is where water can be found. Players won't need to travel too far to catch one, but can definitely expect to see them routinely, whatever part of the map they land on.

Pengullet is an excellent source of H20, hydrating crop fields whenever seeds are planted and even coming to the defense of structures whenever they are on fire. Pengullet is the perfect ally to have at the base, as its utility is quite versatile in the long run.

Combat-wise, players will have access to the Pengullet's Rocket Launcher skill at Level 17, with the ability point cost set at two. This unique skill applies a Pengullet to the team as a rocket on the arm of the player, launching it into an enemy.

Is Pengullet Worth It?

Pengullet isn't the most helpful ally on the battlefield, as it is not particularly strong or possesses the ability to remain in a fight for too long. While its Water and Ice combination makes for a good early-game addition, it quickly takes a passenger seat to stronger Water types that can be found later in the game.
