The world of Palworld is now open to the public, with a large map full of beautiful land to explore and over 100 Pals to discover and catch. As with every new game, players jumping into Palworld will want to know where they're going and how to find every Pal available. Dinossom may be an early-game encounter, but it's far from one that players will want to disregard as fodder. Dinossom is one of the bigger Pals players will run into at the beginning of their journey, and it might be too intimidating to take on at first. If it can't be risked yet, Dinossom will be a Pal that should be re-visited when the player level is sufficient.

Its Grass and Poison duo-typing is a commendable threat to many types in the game, and its arsenal of moves that combine binding and launching an attack that sends the foe flying makes it considerably tougher than the chickens and sheep. Don't be fooled by its aloof expression; Dinossom can deal massive damage and take players by surprise.

Where to Find Dinossom in Palworld (Dinossum Location)

PALWORLD-DINOSSOM-LOCATION

Players looking to catch Dinossom won't have to look too far, as it is the first greater Pal that appears in the game's first area. It's not hard to spot, as it towers over all the other Pals in its vicinity.

Climb down the stairs past the Expedition Survivor's campsite and take a right turn; one shouldn't be far away after that. As the map expands, there isn't a Dinossom too far away, as it is quite common in the area to the right of the main entrance. It's also quite slow in its foot speed, so feel free to casually walk up to it and initiate the battle, but be aware of its binding attack.

Dinossom is at a higher level compared to all other Pals encountered up to this point, between levels 7 and 9. It's quite slow but does pack a punch, and it will bring the player down a peg with a series of attacks that propel the character away. Be sure to dodge them whenever possible and avoid their vines.

It's wise to consider tossing out a Pal to counter its attacks and chip away at some damage. Players can either take a back seat and wait out the battle or approach with caution and add additional damage before throwing a sphere. Be careful though, Dinossom will still target the player first, and ignore the friendly Pal to take a shot.

Dinossom's Work Suitability

PALWORLD-DINOSSOM-UTILITY

Adding Dinossom to the base will provide double duty, as it can assist with cutting down trees and planting seeds for the crops. Crafting in Palworld is important to consider, as it will be the best tool for stockpiling resources and building new structures. Away from the base, Dinossom can be ridden around the map, and Grass-type moves are enhanced when a player is riding one. It's the best of both worlds: players get around town quicker, and taking down Water-type Pals will become a breeze.

Dinossom in Combat

PALWORLD-DINOSSOM-WILD

Dinossom is the perfect partner to assist with catching new Pals, as it is quite strong with its favorable duo-typing, and its ability to bind can slow down opposing Pals. It is weak to Fire and Ice, so it's probably a good idea to keep them as far away from Palworld Pals like Foxparks, as it's essential to keep them on the battlefield for as long as possible.

Despite its inability to move around the area quickly, Dinossom is quite bulky and takes quite a walloping as it deals tremendous damage. The fact that players can find a Dragon-type Pal so early is an incredible addition to any team, and it'll be very supportive of the player base, especially when defending against raids.
