Nighttime in Sakurijama can be peaceful until the wrong corner is turned and Palworld players discover the horrendous pals that await them. Though some of them tend to stay away from confrontation, many others prefer to live life on the wild side and test their powers. Such is the case for Wixen Noct, who enjoys inflicting pain on incoming players.

Wixen Noct is a fox-like pal with both Dark and Fire elemental powers, joining the likes of Bushi Noct of the Sakurajima area. Unlike the natural Wixen, a pure Fire-type pal, Wixen Noct stopped caring about cooking their food long ago and will eat just about anything they catch. It's probably not a good idea to be stranded late at night without protection.

Where to Find and Catch Wixen Noct in Palworld

Traveling to the Sakurajima region will take a surfing mount, like Jormuntide , or a flying mount like Jetragon . Once players reach the area, there are several fast travel waypoints to unlock and Technology points to collect, so be sure to grab them as quickly as possible.

Wixen Noct is found only at nighttime and along the coasts of Sakurajima. Luckily, there is a fast travel waypoint at each end, allowing players to move from one end to the other quickly and check for Wixen Noct spawns. They typically travel in duos or trios, but players can be lucky to spot one stranded alone.

Unfortunately, Wixen Noct is quite powerful and will begin attacking relentlessly once provoked. If players can catch one off guard during an attack, their chances of defeating or capturing it will be good enough. Find two or more, and it would be wise to escape and head for the fast travel spot to avoid damage. Wixen Noct can hit hard and often.

The North and South Rock areas of Sakurajima are littered with pals and ninja assassins. Be on the lookout at all times while hunting Wixen Noct, or risk falling into a terrible situation. Nothing is scarier than being attacked by a mob and three Prixters.

Wixen Noct Skills & Work Suitability, Explained

For players looking to strengthen their Dark-type team, Wixen Noct is a good pal to add. Its partner skill, Lord Black Fox, grants Dark elemental damage to the player's attacks while fighting together. This gives an excellent 1-2 combination and can overwhelm some pals prone to taking Dark damage. It would be wise to target Wixen Noct as well, due to their dropping of Medium Pal Souls and High Grade Technical Manuals.

On the base, Wixen Noct has some utility with its Level 3 Handiwork, Level 2 Kindling, and Level 2 Transporting. This gives players a great pal that can assist with the construction of any materials, weapons, armor, and ammo. While it falls behind other pals in Kindling and Transporting, it's still capable of putting in the work as a secondary option when there are no handiwork jobs available.

On the bright side, players can begin to craft an all Dark/Fire pal team with the addition of Wixen Noct, as the game has few pals of this category. The addition of adding Dark damage to the attack of the player is a nice bonus and Wixen Noct can hold their own in combat as well.
