The sandy parts of the Sakurajima region are home to many ground-type pals in Palworld, which pays tribute to their elemental type and preference for dry conditions. Such is the case for Kikit, an armadillo-style pal that loves basking in the hot sun and rolling around in the dirt. These cute critters will become friendly companions wherever the player goes.

Not long ago, Kikit was used in a sport known as Kikit Soccer, where two teams would use the ground-type pal as a ball and kick it around in order to score a goal. Although the sport fell out of favor due to resistance from the Free Pal Alliance, Kikit didn't mind too much about taking the abuse as it helped shed their old shells in order to grow a stronger one.

Where to Find and Catch Kikit in Palworld

Kikit Location

Kikit in Palworld wild

In the Sakurajima region, there are North Rock and South Rock at both ends of the land, and both come with fast travel waypoints to unlock. The extremities of the region are home to many ground-type pals, including Kikit, so unlocking these waypoints and discovering the region is the first objective to catching these cute critters.

Once players arrive in the sandy areas, Kikit will be quite easy to spot as they are the smallest pals in the area and travel in bunches. Unlike the other pals in the area, Kikit wants nothing to do with hostile confrontations and will look to escape as quickly as possible. This can be adorable and frustrating, as they form a ball and roll out of harm's way, but it can be quite quick and elusive.

Kikit aren't very complicated to catch, but due to their elevated levels and overall stat spreads, regular pal spheres won't do much good. Players should bring along Ultra or Giga Spheres to ensure a successful capture; otherwise, they may become aggravated by their incoming enslavement and unleash an attack in numbers.

Players should practice patience and utilize the crouch mechanic to sneak up on Kikit. North and South Rock are also home to many powerful and hostile pals and enemy characters, and one wrong move could land players in a sticky situation with no time to prepare.

Kikit Skills & Work Suitability, Explained

Kikit in Palworld paldeck

Kikit's main purpose for players will be for farming Crude Oil, a useful resource needed to build certain items such as Flamethrower Fuel and Plasteel. The former is a requirement to use the Flamethrower weapon, while the latter is required to build Ultimate Spheres, the best pal spheres in Palworld. Simply catching or defeating Kikit will earn some Crude Oil each time.

Crude Oil weighs 0.5 pounds per unit, which can add up if players are farming the resource extensively. Thankfully, Kikit's partner skill, Rollin' Full Oil, allows players to carry more Crude Oil than usual, as the specific item won't weigh as much as normal. This helpful skill will allow players to take long trips around the Sakurijama region and stock up on hundreds of Crude Oil before having to return home.

Kikit's one base utility is a Level 1 Mining work suitability, which makes it unusable for the most part. Still, for players looking for an extra pinch of adorable cuteness, toss out Kikit in front of a rock and watch it go to work. Kikit will curl up into a ball and launch itself into the blocks of stone or ore.
