Variant pals in Palworld come from a line involving an existing member of the paldeck, with an additional, or sometimes swapped, element. Helzephyr Lux holds the same Dragon-type element as the original Helzephyr , but adds an additional Electric element to bring the thunder down on anything that gets in its way.

Helzephyr Lux tends to remain in the skies, flapping its majestic wings while observing the surroundings beneath it. The blue detail of the original Helzephyr turns yellow to closely match its newfound electrical powers, and the flame glowing from the top of its head is also yellow. Helzephyr is hard to miss when seeking it out, but players may hope it doesn't track them down first.

In order to encounter Helzephyr Lux, players will first need to unlock the fast travel waypoint in the North Rock area of the Sakurajima region. Players can access this area by using a flying or surfing mount to access the fast travel waypoints, and can begin to hunt down Helzephyr Lux quickly after. The electric bird will be exclusively available in the northern part of the area.

Luckily for the players, Helzephyr Lux can be encountered during both daytime and nighttime. When the sun settles, Helzephyr Lux drops from the sky and seeks refuge in the sand for some sleep. This is the most opportunistic time to catch Helzephyr Lux, as players can isolate one from the group and catch it before the sun rises and the remaining Helzephyr Lux wake up.

During the day, Helzephyr Lux can be found flying high in the sky. Sometimes, they can be encountered alone, but typically fly in groups of three or more. If players stick to the ground and run around the area, Helzephyr Lux will likely not spot them, but taking to the skies on a flying mount will garner some attention. If they spot the player, they will stop at nothing in order to bring them down.

The North and South Rock areas can be an unpleasant experience if not properly prepared. Moonshrine assassins are littering the area and attack mercilessly if they spot the player, and there are other pals, like Prixter , that are hostile as well. Tread with caution and always be aware of the surroundings.

Helzephyr Lux Skills & Work Suitability, Explained

Due to its Electric and Dark elemental typing, Helzephyr Lux will have access to some solid moves that can cause a great deal of damage. It's also quite fast and is able to fly at high altitudes, making Helzephyr Lux a dangerous enemy but a formidable ally. For Dark-type pal users, having some versatility on the team with Helzephyr Lux's electricity could be something worth considering.

Helzephyr Lux also has a flying mount partner skill called Wings of Thunder, which allows players to fly around the map on the back of their trusted pal. This partner skill will also increase the power of all electric-type attacks, which Helzephyr Lux should have no problem learning. For the moves it doesn't naturally learn, players can give Helzephyr Lux one of Palworld's skill fruits to teach it.

Although it can be quite niche, Helzephyr Lux has some good utility at the base. Its Level 3 Generating Electricity work suitability will ensure that the lights stay on at home and the production assembly lines will operate at all hours. Helzephyr Lux also has a Level 3 Transporting skill, which will keep items flowing from where they drop to the proper storage location.
