In Palworld, Chillet quickly grew as a fan favourite for its adorable appearance and the way it looks while attempting an escape. Having an Alpha Boss form in Palworld allowed players to capture a more powerful version, with a much larger body. In the Sakurajima region, Chillet Ignis are more frequently found, and the new variation is sure to have collectors going crazy over them.

Taking a pinker tone in color, paying homage to the many sakura trees in the area, Chillet Ignis is a Fire and Dragon-type pal that holds all the same personality traits of the original Chillet, including a friendly demeanor. Trading the Ice element for Fire, Chillet Ignis is sure to set their player's heart ablaze with cuteness.

Where to Find and Catch Chillet Ignis in Palworld

Chillet Ignis Location

Chillet Ignis in Palworld base

The first thing players will need to do is head over to the Sakurajima region using one of the few available fast travel waypoints. These can be unlocked by taking a flying or surfing mount across the large body of water separating the village of Sakura trees from the main Palworld map. Nitewing or Surfent should suffice to get to the island quickly, provided their saddles have been unlocked.

Chillet Ignis frequents most of the Sakurajima region, except for the outskirts, where there is more sand than grassy land. Chillet Ignis can be found in groups of two or more, seldom seen alone, and are typically enjoying the fresh air and frolicking in the sun. If they spot players nearby, they will quickly make their getaway, hoping to avoid any conflict.

If attacked or an attempt at capture is made, Chillet Ignis will launch an attack. This can be quite dangerous for players not well-prepared for a pal with both Dragon and Fire elements. Chillet Ignis has a wide range of powerful attacks that may overwhelm the player, and attacking in groups of three could spell disaster for anyone caught in their barrage.

Chillet Ignis tend to sleep at night nighttime but are still available in the overworld, making for an easier catch. With fewer ninja assassins, this may be an ideal time to take advantage of the conditions and catch a dozen Chillet Ignis before sunrise.

Chillet Ignis Skills & Work Suitability, Explained

Chillet Ignis in Palworld paldeck

Chillet Ignis' partner skill, Crackling Weasel, allows players to mount and ride this pal. Additionally, riding Chillet Ignis has the extra benefit of applying fire damage to their attacks, which may help with dealing with some of the peskier grass-type pals in Palworld. Players can quickly turn the tables by dismounting Chillet and taking advantage of its Dragon elemental attacks.

When it comes to chipping in at the base, Chillet Ignis doesn't offer much outside of a Level 1 Gathering and Level 2 Kindling work suitability. Players may already have another fire-type pal with a higher capacity for kindling, but Chillet Ignis can fill in the void for players in need of some extra firepower.

Battle-wise, Chillet Ignis doesn't have the strength to compete with most other Dragon pals in Palworld, but the combination of Dragon and Fire will surely throw enemy pals and grunts for a loop. Players should experiment with Chillet Ignis and test its limits before deciding whether it becomes a regular in the team or remains at the base, where it will send sparks flying after each loving embrace.
