For the longest time in Palworld, Bushi has roamed the lands while wielding its sword, serving as one of the most fierce pals. While its power is unmatched, Bushi Noct makes a great case for itself to someday replace it on the strength scale. Perhaps someday, the two may meet and clash swords in an ultimate test of will.

Bushi Noct is a Dark and Fire-type pal with a blueish tint to its skin and a purple flame that stays blazing atop its head. While it appears tame from a distance, getting in too close will prompt Bushi Noct to draw its sword and attack. Though it believes in a high sense of discipline, it views anything in its land as a threat to its safety.

Where to Find and Catch Bushi Noct in Palworld

Bushi Noct Location

Bushi Noct in Palworld base

Like most dark-type pals in Palworld, Bushi Noct can only be encountered when the sun sets. This gives players half their 24-hour cycle to plan ahead and hunt down Bushi Noct to catch it. While this may not be ideal for most, players who wish to get more playing time when the moon is lit are encouraged to change their world settings to allow for longer nights and shorter days.

Alternatively, Bushi Noct is also available in dungeons, though they're solely in the Sakurajima region. Bushi Noct remains local to the land of Sakura trees, which means players have just a tiny area of the Palworld map to find one, let alone wait for nighttime to arrive. The restrictions on encountering Bushi Noct pay tribute to just how powerful this pal can be.

Though Bushi Noct can be found in pairs, they typically walk alone. Bushi Noct is a calm yet terrifying presence, and running into one unprepared may be a disaster waiting to happen. Players should be equipped with some of the strongest weapons and armor in Palworld and prepare for a long battle, as Bushi Noct is equally defensive as it is powerful. Only the strongest pal spheres will work on Bushi Noct, so stock up before taking it on.

It may be a good idea to scout the area before encountering Bushi Noct. This pal alone is already a tough battle waiting to happen, but it can become a lot worse if ninja assassins or other pals make their way into the fight and begin teaming up with Bushi Noct.

Bushi Noct Skills & Work Suitability, Explained

Bushi Noct in Palworld paldeck

Joining a packed group of variants that harness the power of Dark and Fire elements, Bushi Noct may make a case for itself as the strongest. Like the original Bushi , Bushi Noct has tremendous attack power and maintains its use of Iagiri, a teleportation slash attack. With the addition of Dark-type attacks and several other elements to add variety, Bushi Noct may be a mainstay on anyone's team.

Due to Bushi Noct holding onto its signature move, it also shares the partner skill of Bushi, Brandish Blade. This skill is ideally suited for combat, as it allows Bushi Noct to unleash a mighty blow that can take out enemies with one swipe of its sword. With its high attack power and favorable elemental combination, Bushi Noct could be a recommended pal for team building.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Bushi Noct isn't suited for base work. Bushi Noct has a good volume of different work suitability skills, such as Level 3 Lumbering, Level 2 Kindling and Transporting, and Level 1 Handiwork and Gathering. This means Bushi Noct can lend a hand for several different tasks but is preferably put in front of trees to stockpile wood.
