Alongside the release of Palworld version 0.2.0.6, developer Pocket Pair said that the new update introduced a bug that prevented Pal eggs from being placed inside an incubator. However, Pocket Pair added that Palworld players could resolve the issue by rebuilding and replacing all the incubators on their bases, and apologized for the bug.

The launch of Palworld version 0.2.0.6 saw the game's first raid boss, Bellanoir, added to the early access title. By using slabs at a Summoning Alter, Palworld players can team up with Pals at their base to defeat Bellanoir. Though this new Pal cannot be captured, defeating Bellanoir has a chance to drop Pal Eggs. Pocket Pair added that fighting Bellanoir on "Extreme" difficulty is another challenge players can undertake afterward. In addition to Bellanoir, Palworld's 0.2.0.6 update added various items such as training manuals and stat-boosting fruits to make raising specific Pals easier to manage. Plus, more bug fixes to various Pals and treasure chests were addressed.

Palworld Player Builds a School in the Game

A creative Palworld player takes the game's base-building systems to the next level by creating a school in the popular survival game.

While one major bug slipped through the cracks, it did not escape Pocket Pair's notice for long. On social media, the developer stated that incubators would not accept Pal Eggs in version 0.2.0.6 and that this was a known bug reported by players shortly after the update. This meant that Palworld players would not have a way to hatch any Pal Eggs that could drop from Bellanoir after defeating it. However, Pocket Pair also stated that players can work around it by rebuilding affected Incubators until the bug is addressed. Players looking to rebuild their Incubators will either need to take down the existing ones and use the same crafting materials, or gather some Stone, Cloth, and Ancient Civilization Parts to make more. Pocket Pair apologized for any inconvenience caused by the Incubator bug.

Palworld Addresses Egg Incubator Bug in Version 0.2.0.6 Update

Although Incubators were broken by the version 0.2.0.6 update, other Palworld players reported more severe issues. While players can still obtain and hatch Pal Eggs they find once the Incubators are replaced, others reportedly cannot open the game on PC. According to the replies of Palworld's social media post, some users pointed out that the update corrupted their games, and others reported performance issues with Pals trying to sleep at a base. Some Palworld server owners also reported that the game would not load after updating to version 0.2.0.6.

Though other graphical bugs can occur in Palworld, that has not stopped Pocket Pair from continuing to improve its early access title. It remains to be seen when the developers will address any lingering bugs with version 0.2.0.6.
