Palworld's co-op mode lets friends band together in a hunt for Pals and resources as they build their bases. Here's how to get the most out of it.

As part of the effort to improve the Palworld experience for all players, developer Pocketpair has announced that changes will be made to the game's multiplayer system infrastructure around 10:00am PT. The Palworld dev stressed that these changes will not have an impact on saves, but that there may be some issues connecting to the game's servers and multiplayer today. Players running into any problems after the changes are made are asked to restart the game on both the host and client sides.

Palworld Multiplayer System Infrastructure Changes Scheduled

  • When: Wednesday, January 31 at 10:00am PT

So, if anyone is having trouble playing Palworld multiplayer today, the best bet is to restart the game and see if that fixes it. Hopefully, Palworld is able to make these changes without too much interruption for players. There are over 1 million people playing Palworld at the time of this writing on Steam alone, so there are a lot of people that these changes to the game's multiplayer system infrastructure could impact.

Things like this may be inconvenient in the short-term, but they will hopefully pay off in the long run. Future Palworld updates should go a long way in improving the game's stability, with the developers looking to address the various technical issues that currently plague the game. Improvements to base Pal AI and pathing are also on the way, which should go a long way in solving some of the biggest complaints Palworld players have about the game.

Some more exciting updates are on the way for Palworld as well. As previously announced by Pocketpair, Palworld is going to add PvP at some point down the road, along with end-game raid bosses, a Pal arena, crossplay, building system improvements, new islands, Pals, bosses, technologies, and more. If Palworld is able to fix its problems and successfully implement new features, it should be able to keep its incredible momentum going strong for the long haul.
