The launch of the mix of monster-catching and survival games from Pocket Pair has seen overwhelming success with both fans and critics. The game has seen praise for its unique take on the monster-catching genre, combining the Pokemon-like Pals with crafting and base-building elements common in games like Minecraft and Rust. One of the biggest draws of the game for many fans has been its extensive base-building mechanics.

Collecting all of Palworld's many "Pal" companions isn't the only thing players have to do in Palworld, with an extensive building and crafting system. Players can use their Pals to work in various workstations within Palworld, allowing players to mass-produce resources to help them progress through the game faster. Palworld's extensive resource gathering systems allow players to use a wide range of different Pals to collect everything from food and lumber, to useful items like Pal Spheres. Now, one fan has created a particularly astounding base, complete with several workstations and multiple levels.

Reddit user Bmfp123 showed off their impressive base on the Palworld subreddit, giving fans a tour of their sprawling setup. The base opens with an extravagant gate and stairway leading into a main chamber containing multiple Palworld work stations for cooking, generating electricity, and more. The open-air top level of the impressive compound features a hot spring, multiple farming plots, and mining plots. The base even contains a large open platform near the top, giving the player an easy takeoff spot for mounting flying Pals.

The detailed base saw several fans in the comments humorously compare the structure to their own in-game bases. Many reference their own bases as being overly rudimentary, typically only featuring the bare minimum of walls and roofs in comparison to the castle-like structure. The user took the opportunity to share helpful tips for base-building in Palworld, including spacing out work stations on different levels and building higher ceilings to allow Pals to climb stairs. The creator also revealed how much stone the colossal base needed, using between 9,000 and 12,000 for the full structure.
