One creative Palworld player has built their base inside the ruins they found in the game's world. Despite being a bit restrictive, Palworld's building system allows players to construct all types of structures, including pyramids and skyscrapers, that have their own distinctive interior designs. The main components of each base are wood, stone, ore, and paldium which can be found on the ground. As in other survival games, building a sheltered house is the cornerstone of the gameplay, as it protects players and their valuable items from nearby threats.

Palworld is off to a great start, with the action-oriented game amassing an impressive player count of 1.8 million on January 23. Since its initial release, it has sold over 19 million copies on Steam and Xbox platforms, outselling many triple-A titles that came out in the last couple of years. Even though Palworld is considered by some to be a Pokemon Legends: Arceus or Ark: Survival Evolved clone, the game received many plaudits for its unique survival mechanics and fun gameplay.

Palworld Mod Adds Super-Helpful Feature

A new Palworld mod adds a feature that was eagerly awaited by the community, as it's incredibly helpful while playing the survival game.

One Palworld player known on Reddit as Smart-Potential-7520 has built their multi-level base inside the ruins they came across on the map. They seem to have combined these ruins with stones to make a cozy home that is reminiscent of medieval castles. From the looks of it, the base consists of low ceiling floors, which could make it harder to accommodate larger Pals. However, the player can decorate interior parts and use them as storage.

Palworld Player's Base Inside the Ruins

Depending on its size and design, bases in Palworld can be used to protect Pals and valuable items against threats. There, players can set down all the handy workbenches to craft different types of weapons and equipment. It's essential to note that players don't have to build megastructures, as they can get pretty far with a small base that remains impervious to enemy raids.

Palworld's building system leads to the creation of complex structures, but it still needs some improvements for a smoother experience. Many players put their heads together to find the shortcomings of the system, with some suggesting the developers add several quality-of-life features, including the ability to upgrade construction materials with a hammer. Besides, the majority of them think the game should reduce the need for reconstruction, which can sometimes be a frustrating process.

Since the game's launch, Palworld players have created different types of structures, from unraidable bases and comfortable houses to castles. Recently, one made a pirate ship in the middle of the water to use it as a cozy home, while another constructed a giant hotel from scratch. Palworld players will possibly share more custom builds within the community in the weeks ahead.
