Highlights

  • Base-building is key in Palworld, with players like Rumakian showcasing creative construction skills in their impressive fortress.
  • Rumakian's base features 40 beds for efficient project output, achieved by using a mod allowing 40 Pals per base.
  • Other players have built unique bases too, such as one around the Anubis statue and another atop a tower for maximum security and loot.

A gamer who played Palworld for over 140 hours has recently created an impressive base that looks like a huge fortress. Palworld has been a major hit since its early access release last month, surpassing 19 million players on Xbox and Steam, and some of them are extremely creative with base-building.

Base-building is an important aspect of Palworld, especially considering how much time the average player will spend improving their homes and crafting items there. While most players focus on utility rather than elegance during base-building, some take the game’s systems to their fullest potential to build unique constructions, and this player excelled in that regard.

Palworld Players Shouldn't Waste Resources on This Useless Item

A Palworld player cautions the community against crafting an item that sounds interesting in theory but is very underwhelming when used.

A Palworld player called Rumakian has recently shared some pictures of their base, which they believe is around 90% complete after playing the survival game for over 140 hours. Rumakian constructed an enormous fortress with high stone walls on top of a river in the main starting area of the game. Like similar bases, this one has a Pal Breeding Farm, factories, and a huge area for plantations. An interesting highlight of Rumakian’s fortress is the central stone building, which has three huge towers.

Palworld Player's Amazing Base After 140 Hours

Curiously, Rumakian’s base has 40 beds. In normal Palworld servers, bases are capped at 15 to 20 Pals per place, depending on the server configurations. Still, Rumakian circumvented this limit by using a mod that allows for 40 Pals per base, which greatly increases the output of their projects but also requires more resting space for a large army of working Pals.

Rumakian’s base is far from the only creative headquarters devised by a Palworld player, though, and many examples can be seen in recent weeks. In one of them, a Palworld player created a base around the Anubis statue on Mount Obsidian. The space featured several complex stone buildings and a lot of well-placed furniture that gave it a cozy atmosphere. Also, the Anubis statue was the perfect location for setting up camp, as it’s near coal, ore, and sulfur deposits, as well as a Skill Fruit Tree.

Another player created an even more impressive base. They set up their Palworld base on top of a tower located in the No Man’s Trail region, near the Astral Mountains. Not only did the building itself look amazing, but it was also very useful, as the place was completely immune to raids due to its height, and four chests with high-level items often spawned inside its area.
