A Palworld fan has recently devised a mecha version of Lovander, a controversial Pal that looks like a pink bipedal lizard. Palworld is a Pokemon-inspired survival game released in early access a few months ago, and it features 137 different Pals. This variety of designs has led many fans to create unofficial takes on these monsters, and some of them are pretty creative.

Lovander is a Neutral-type Pal that can be found in Palworld’s deserts, including the Dessicated Desert and the Twilight Dunes. This nocturnal creature was perhaps one of the most controversial Pals to star in the game due to its Paldeck entry, which hints that Lovander often goes out at night seeking love encounters with both human and Pal partners. Controversies apart, Lovander is a skilled fighter, stealing HP for the player during fights and being an able worker at producing medicine, laboring with its hands, and transporting goods.

Palworld Player Builds Incredible Cozy Village in the Game

A dedicated Palworld player takes the game's base-building systems to the next level by creating a big, cozy village that looks great.

Now, a Palworld fan called shunixe has created an amazing mecha version of Lovander. In this new form, the creature continues to be a bipedal pink monster with a lizardlike face, but it gains a metal body that resembles a mecha. It’s a pretty neat design that shows a completely new take on Lovander, making the creature seem much more dangerous in combat than its somewhat peaceful-looking original design.

Mecha Lovander Palworld Fan Art

Pokemon fans who like fan art may have heard of the Mecha Lovander’s creator shunixe before. Shunixe is known for creating several Monster Hunter-styled designs for Pokemon, coming up with unique takes on creatures such as Reshiram, Vaporeon, Gyarados, and others.

This work is far from the only example of Palworld fan art, though. Last month, a Palworld fan made a human version of Lamball. In this fan art, the artist reimagined Lamball as a young human girl with a brown top with sleeves made of wool. The Human Lamball had several details that resembled the original Pal, such as the same ears and horns, as well as its yellow eyes.

Another creative example of Palworld fan art was a Grass-type Pal designed by a fan soon after the game’s release. The new creature was called Plossom, and it bore strong similarities to both a possum and Bulbausar from the Pokemon franchise, as it had a huge bulb on its back. Hopefully, given Palworld’s massive popularity following its unexpectedly huge release, even more talented fans will come up with unique designs for Pals.
