A Palworld player tried to lure a Jetragon to capture it, but the strategy had a disastrous result, and the Pal killed itself. Palworld has more than 100 creatures to catch, assign tasks, and battle. But as happens in monster-collecting games, some Pals stand out for their rarity and power and are greatly coveted by Palworld players.

Jetragon is one of these creatures that every Palworld player wants to have on their team. While catching Jetragon is one of the hardest tasks in Palworld, the player who succeeds will have in their collection a creature with one of the best dragon abilities in Palworld. As well as being a powerful Pal, Jetragon lives up to its jet-like design, and it is the fastest flying mount in Palworld. What's more, Jetragon is also valuable at work, being one of Palworld's best Pals for gathering plants. Getting a Jetragon is a fantastic addition for Palworld adventurers, but one player's recent attempt didn't go exactly to plan.

Reddit user TerroDark98 tried to lower a Jetragon's health by luring it over a cliff to capture it, but the Legendary Pal threw itself off and died in the process. In the clip shared, they throw a Pal Sphere to attract the attention of a level 50 Jetragon, which attacks the player. They then walk towards the cliff to attract Jetragon, causing the Legendary Pal to jump and fall onto the beach. However, Jetragon flies straight into the water, resulting in the tragic and somewhat comical death of one of Palworld's most powerful Pals.

Players reacted amusingly to the OP's unfortunate situation, with one commenting that this strategy went wrong because of the point at which Jetragon jumped. According to them, Jetragon would die instantly even if it didn't touch the water, as it would die from fall damage. The Redditor then offered a golden tip, which consists in taking Jetragon a little further north from where it jumped in the clip. This way, Jetragon will fall onto a platform, reducing its health enough for the player to successfully catch the powerful Dragon-type Pal.
