While the lack of evolutions may disappoint some Palworld players, they'll be glad to know that something similar is in place: breeding and fusing. Instead of your Pals getting a bigger and stronger form, you have the option of using two of your companions to produce hybrid Pals. However, this does involve quite a handful of steps, one of which includes baking a Cake.

Palworld: Where to Find Tanzee

Tanzee is a child-like monkey that enjoys frolicking in the sun and playing with friends, but this Palworld pal has a utility that is very useful.

As strange as it sounds, Cake is required if you want to get Pals without going out and catching any. Before any eggs can be laid, you need to bake a few Cakes using various ingredients you can find in the world. Here are all the things you need for baking in Palworld.

You automatically unlock the recipe for Cake by building a Cooking Pot, which can be unlocked after reaching Level 17. To bake a Cake, you'll need the following ingredients:

Red Berries can be found everywhere in the starting Palworld zones, and you can make Berry Plantations in your base as well. Flour is also made in your base, though you must build a Mill first in order to process Wheat, which can be grown by planting Wheat Seeds in dedicated Wheat Plantations.

The other three ingredients can be gathered by hunting or farming.

  • Eggs come from Chikipis, which are abundant in the starter zone. You should have no trouble finding some in low-level regions.
  • Meanwhile, you can get Milk from Mozzarinas, which can only be found near the Ravine Entrance fast travel point — you can find this area by going to the Rayne Syndicate Tower and heading directly west.
  • Lastly, to get Honey, you need to hunt either Cinnamoths, Beegardes, or Elizabees. Hunting Beegardes is recommended since they are more plentiful. You can find them to the far north of the Rayne Syndicate Tower.

All of the Pals needed for Milk, Eggs, and Honey can passively yield their produce if they are assigned to a Ranch. However, this will take more time than usual. On the other hand, you won't lose any resources when farming them passively, which is great if you want to prioritize exploring or fighting bosses.

You need one Cake every time you want to breed Pals. Thankfully, the ingredients needed to bake one isn't that high, so you should be able to have a few Cakes ready every time you gather ingredients from your farms.
