While exploring the exciting Palworld, players must catch many unique Pals, but even meeting all the requirements does not always guarantee success in the hunt. After all, even by lowering the creature’s health, the level of your spheres may not be enough to catch a new pet. Besides, sometimes the problem is not your preparation but random bad luck or the game world settings, which can be very frustrating.

When going hunting, every player dreams of finding and catching the best and strongest Pals without spending too many resources. Of course, there are no legal ways to guarantee a 100% chance of success, but there are quite a few ways to increase the capture rate in Palworld very close to the maximum.

Palworld: How To Teach Pals New Skills

Each Pal in Palworld comes with a different skill set, and players can use the two methods to teach them a new skill.

All Ways To Increase Capture Rate in Palworld

First of all, it is worth noting that you can increase the capture rate in Palworld in three ways:

Reducing health of Pals.
Using higher-level Pal Spheres.
Collecting Lifmunk Effigies.

Deal More Damage

First, it's worth mentioning the basics of Pals hunting, namely your target's health. Capturing a creature with maximum health indicators will be much more difficult than capturing a target that is on the verge of death. So before throwing Pal Spheres at your target Pal, fight it and get its health as low as possible. Be careful because if you deal too much damage, you'll just kill the creature and won't be able to catch it.

Use Different Pal Spheres

The next step is choosing the appropriate Pal Spheres. From the beginning of your adventures until level 14, you will mostly use the basic Pal Sphere to capture creatures. However, you will unlock Sphere Workbench, Sphere Assembly Line, and Sphere Assembly Line II upon reaching 14, 27, and 35 levels, respectively. It will allow you to create a wider range of these items:

Mega Sphere (level 14)
Giga Sphere (level 20)
Hyper Sphere (level 27)
Ultra Sphere (level 35)
Legendary Sphere (level 44)

Each subsequent Pal Sphere requires significantly more resources to create, but their effectiveness increases in proportion to the price. Of course, you shouldn't use Ultra Sphere and Legendary Sphere to catch the weakest creatures, but you can significantly increase your chances of success in hunting high-level Pals.

Use Lifmunk Effigies

This method involves collecting and using Lifmunk Effigies, small collectibles found throughout the game world. Players can find these bright green figurines on small pedestals throughout the game, but collecting them is not enough. Players need to unlock and build the Statue of Power. By spending 20x Stone and 10x Paldium Fragment, you can place this structure on your base, and by interacting with it and sacrificing Lifmunk Effigies, you can significantly increase the capture rate.
